  1. Spotted a super clean white S2 Saturday morning in Jindabyne and also a silver Axis M35.
  2. Well I spoke to Jetwrek and he mentioned it may be the Air filter... I changed up to a K&N filter and I can't get it to fart anymore..... I'm totally confused.
  3. Here is what I have found; I blocked off the BOV with some rubber and went for a 45min drive to try and make it 'fart'. No farting at all. I get back home and return the BOV to stock - took it for another drive and it farts again. Here is a quick iPhone recording HERE listen at 15seconds.
  4. I am more than happy to meet up. I will be away this weekend but will be around the beaches all next week. Here is what I have found; I blocked off the BOV with some rubber and went for a 45min drive to try and make it 'fart'. No farting at all. I get back home and return the BOV to stock - took it for another drive and it farts again. Here is a quick iPhone recording HERE listen at 15seconds.
  5. Well I just blocked off my BOV and can't make the car fart anymore... I will try drive it a little more and see if its 100% the BOV. It does make a wicked flutter sound now... haha. I know its not good but sounds cool!
  6. Let me know how you end up going! I will look further into it. Cheers. It seems to make the farting noise once I am on peak boost and then lift off the throttle or once it shifts. I can keep the farting going if I feather the throttle... So I was thinking its either the exhaust or BOV.
  7. Hey guys. My M35 seems to be farting when under full boost at around 3-4000rpm. I remember reading about people saying it was either an exhaust leak or an issue with the BOV. Has anyone found a fix for the farting? I remember reading about someone ordering a new BOV but never heard the outcome.. I was wondering if a stock R32/33/34 GT-R BOV would bolt strait on as a replacement of the stock BOV? Cheers!
  8. well....accidents do happen....
  9. These are wicked. I have been in Ben's car a heap of times, super comfy ride and looks hot... wish mine were adjustable.
  10. I accidentally bought some wheels when I went to get a fresh set of tyres... 19x9.5 +35 with 5mm spacer on all 4 fit peeeeerfect. I will get some better photos soon.
  11. I am trying to save for some Advan RS's.... emphasis on trying... I think the 19x9 +29 will fit flush.
  12. I think I spotted Andy the other day on forest way road. Looked like a silver ARX.
  13. I would be keen...but will be in NZ until the 20th Aug... bummer. Chris.
  14. I tried my iPod plug in my stagea that connects to my TV and I get "this device is not supported" on the iPad. No video shows up on the screen and no audio. You could just hook up audio to the iPad. Hope this helps! Chris.
  15. As my brother (bbenny) said, I have the same issue. Keen to hear your results Stephen. Chris.
  16. Nothing as exciting as you guys, but I fitted a Sped.Dock (iPhone integration) into my M35. Works great!
  17. Yep, it mounts directly to the column. They do offer another kit that moves with the wheel, but you have to change to a non-airbag wheel. I have attached a couple of better shots below: Chris.
  18. They look awesome! thanks for buying them for me! All you have to do now, is install them in my car!
  19. Hey everyone. I ordered the Works Bell column shifter kit last week and thought I would post up my thoughts and the install procedure. I was going to wait for my brother to give me a hand, but after looking at the kit and instructions, it looked really simple. First step was to remove the center console and find a white plug that controls all the shifting. All you do is plug in the supplied plug: From there, I run the cables to the under side of the steering wheel. I removed the cover under the wheel: There are some small ribs that need to be removed so that the 'back plait' fits correctly. I used the V35 template that is included and drill the 6.0mm holes: Once that's all done, I bolt on the paddles, hook up the wires (You also have to run power to the kit - I just ran off the cigarette lighter and ground the black wire to the chassis) then its just a matter of putting it all back together. The kit is nice quality and feels solid - the raw carbon looks sexy too. The paddles are fully adjustable. You can change the angle, height and amount the paddles protrude. I set mine up as high as possible, but with enough space so my high-beam and window squirter thingo still work. First thing I noticed was how much damn petrol I am using.... could have something to do with keeping it in 2nd all the time and enjoying the corners a little too much.... Shifting feels good - only a small movement - feels similar to a M3/Golf GTI.... without the nice quick shift and down blip. I paid $422.00 shipped to my front door. Expensive... but if I had the choice again, I would get it again in a heartbeat. I have always driven manual cars and changing to auto in the Stagea was one of my biggest concerns.. but this makes me much happier. I will post up some clearer non-iPhone pics tomorrow. Chris.
  20. Installed the Works Bell paddle shift kit on my M35 today! I will post a thread tomorrow.
  21. Keen. Any more info on these yet? Chris.
  22. I will post up a step by step tutorial when I get a spare light. Its not that simple, and I managed to ruin my passenger light.
  23. Well whatever you do DONT stuff up your headlights like I did. Called everywhere for a spare and Just Jap want $700 for a single light with a large scratch on the lens. A new one from Nissan is $2583.00 for ONE light.... I will hold out and see if I can find anything cheaper. The light still works and looks OK, I am just fussy. Here are some iPhone shots. I blacked out the top of the rear lights too.
  24. I just did a test with my box stock NM35 with the iPhone app called Dynolicious. What is the weight of the car? It asks in the app. I put in 1700KG as a guess. Here are the results. Foot on brake, rev to about 2800rpm with a little slip off the line. First run I got 6.2 sec 0-100km. Second run: 0-10 km/h: 0.49 sec 0-20 km/h: 0.84 sec 0-30 km/h: 1.26 sec 0-40 km/h: 1.70 sec 0-50 km/h: 2.16 sec 0-60 km/h: 2.66 sec 0-70 km/h: 3.28 sec 0-80 km/h: 3.98 sec 0-90 km/h: 4.69 sec 0-100 km/h: 5.45 sec Think its a little optimistic? Chris.
