hi guy im new to these forums. I got an R31 pintara and its needs a good kick in the butt. I got the car a few years ago. when i bought it, the guy changed the engine after he blew the CA20 and put a CA18 SOHC in. Iv been hunting around the net trying to find any info on the engine, but im having a bad time find anything of value. anyway she chugs and carrys on and vibrates like no tomorrow even when warm. the only remidy i found was to increase the revs with the throtle cable, but it has to rev very high for it to be stable which makes the exaust smell like fuel. i figured it had to do with the timing but even then it still ran bad(unless i did it wrong). the only time she goes good is when im driving 80ks or above, is there any ajustments i could make or something i can check for it stop doing this. which is the reason im looking for a manual, though all the manuals i find are for the CA18DE/T. any help would be muchly appreciated. also i blew my flange gaskets around the cat. when i replaced them i had a look at the cat and its hollow and i know thats not normal.

hay i was looking fo a ca18 SOHC exhaust manafold. though it is odd its only go 2 pipes unlike the ones u can get from the s13 and the like with 4 pipes. stock part is all im after iv asked at the local import shop but they cant find any (ahh, the issue of living in the sticks). hope someone can help
