This is probably a stupid question, but would the lcd work with a car that didn't come with a factory pop up lcd?

I just had a play with mine now and got it working...it was just a blown bulb (T10 wedge) luckily I had some spare led ones and they worked like a charm. Ant, I'm assuming yours will be the same problem. Obviously you have to get to the tail lights (remove the carpet in the boot, undo 5 screws on the right side and she should just pull out and 4 screws on the left...)

Ironically the same thing has just happened to me too. I noticed it about 30min ago when the Mrs was in the car... I havn't done anything to the car lately to 'cause' it too, so it's a bit weird. I'm hoping it's something easy too. If I sort it out, I'll post back with what was my issue.

I was just about to say that could have been me in the 34 but thankfully remembered I wasn't driving it that day, was driving the mrs's hyundai. Though I saw 2 black R35's traveling towards chadstone, and a black R34 with what looked like a bomex bodykit...

Jonno, what's your verdict on say... Nescafe Blend 43 as apposed to the Milo? and do you reckon the extra 33% Blend 43 will give you 33% extra power gain, or is that just the big brand names using marketing gimmicks again?

Forgot to mention The ecu fault code reads 55 now, which makes it more bizarre and annoying, and the check engine light has stopped coming on.

Hi again guys I've been having a few problems lately with a 98 R34 N/A... initially the check engine light was coming on and the car was feeling very sluggish, so I did the ecu fault code test, and it came up with 21. I purchased some new coil packs from RBCeffy25 assuming the coil packs were faulty and they were probably gonna need replacing soon anyways. I followed some of the guides on here how to change spark plugs / coil packs, and managed to swap them out. But now the car idles very rough, seems to have lost most of it's power and fuel efficiency is terrible. I rechecked everything again today, and it all seems fine... but it's still idling very rough. Any ideas please? Did I prehaps fudge something up whilst changing the coils? Any help would be really appreciated.. Thanks

Thanks guys, I bought a key off ebay, so I'll get that cut for now and save the other as a spare. Will probably go down the route of getting a aftermarket alarm and remote keyless entry system, no point forking out that kind of money for that Cheers

Hi guys I just wanted to find out, but does a 98 R34 have keyless entry? mine came with a very basic metal key with no transponder etc. The central locking works fine, but I recently had another key cut and was unsuccessful with that, as it does not work at all... Should mine have keyless entry? if so can I get the remote fairly easily? I've been searching and I read that a pulsar or patrol remote could work? Just thought I'd find out what it's 'supposed' to have, i asked the guy selling it before i got it, and he said that was the only key he had for it, :S Thanks guys Cheers

I'll try the paper clip method and see what it says, but i'm pretty certain its the coil packs. Will have to go with the yellow jackets for now, as it's a bit cheaper, might as well change over the spark plugs too while I'm at it, there is another $120 :S Thanks for the info guys, and sorry for me semi hijacking the thread

mine sadly is doing something similiar, 118000km on the clock.... I've only had the car for about 10 days though Check engine light comes on randomly and will stay on for a bit, maybe go away but generally stays. Yesterday though, there was a bit of shaky idling and quite a bit of misfire too I'm assuming it's the coilpacks, i've literally checked everything else and done my homework. Just have to wait till I can afford another $600 on coilpacks, boo
