  1. I have one. I'll PM you.
  2. It's fibreglass and came with the car when I bought it however I have since purchased the original front bar so it's no longer needed. It's been sprayed with Sonic Silver colour to match my Series 2 GTR paint. It has a few scratches and minor cracks which can be seen in the photots. The previous owner fixed some of the small cracks with matching coloured tape which surprisingly looks okay so I was pretty happy with it until I decided I wanted the stock look.Doesn't include fog lights, these will need to be transferred from your existing front bar. Asking $150 pick up East Melbourne, VIC.
  3. Yep, i've got an R33GTR but i'm looking for another GTR as well. Nice car you have there btw
  4. Hi. I'm interested in hiring a GTR for wedding day. Please reach out to me if you're available in December and have a GTR in Melbourne. Preferably an R34 GTR.
  5. looks brand new. i wonder how much it would be to import?
  6. this was a great day. Thanks to Neil and organisers. When is the next SAU Sandown day?
  7. do they comply with aus standards? or would they be an insurance issue?
  8. I threaded my work lug nut and a new set is around $180. Obviously, i'd prefer to just buy the 1 lug not, but I can't see them being sold individually. Anyone have any idea how I can acquire just one Work RS 12 X 1.25 lug nut?
  9. Thanks Ewan, I'm located in Malvern in the SE Suburbs. I've heard that it needs to be stock to pass though, so i'm not sure if that will work? Johnie, wouldn't they know you've put steel wool into the exhaust?
  10. bump, anyone out there that can help please?
  11. Hi there, I'm in need of either hiring or buying a stock R33 GTR exhaust system preferably with a cat converter. I need to clear a noise defect, if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Harry
  12. thanks guys! I've also got an Exhaust Control Valve which i'll need to disconnect.
  13. so they won't even pop the bonnet? I can go in with the aftermarket ecu and ebc and they won't bother to check?
  14. You have PM regarding 'Standard exhaust for EPA'
  15. Bad news, seems a cop reported me while I was driving home from work and I got a letter in the mail today from EPA saying I need to go in for a noise test. Just a couple of questions.. - Where can I buy or borrow a stock exhaust in melbourne to pass the test? - Do I need to worry about removing my Apexi FC and EBC as well?
  16. as per title required to clear noise epa test. must be in melbourne
  17. Not a worthwhile mod then? Maybe i should look into a dual solenoid EBC then.
  18. Would upgrading to Tomie Type B poncams help increase my power and response as well? Here's my dyno graph
  19. Yep, should have included that good point. R33 GTR RB26 Tomie sump baffle ACL Race bearings Adjustable cam gears HKS oil cooler Nismo oil/air seperator Apexi power fc Apexi boost controller HKS GT-SS turbos Work 10" x 18 rims
  20. haha thanks Ash, yeah that would have been awesome, but doesn't matter. I'm keen to head down to another Sandown track day, hopfully next time there will be another GTR with -5s there.
  21. I've already got coil overs, but i'm curious about the front/rear diff and transfer case modifications that you're mentioned. So you think that by modifying these two elements it make a significant improvement to overall setup/performance? What specifically would you recommend is modified with the transfer case? Yeah that's not what i'm sure about since i've personally never been in a car with this setup, all I really have to go off are track videos and word of mouth. That's what makes it so hard to determine if it's worth pouring more money into a whole new setup. My gut feeling is that you always get used/bored of the power, probably even with a big single, but i'm not sure. I take on board the other points that there is room for improvement with the current set up, but I guess i'm still curious as to whether the -5s would put a larger smile on my dial on a daily basis but also work well on the track.
  22. Yep that's right i've started doing circuit work and love it, everytime i get out on the track i learn something new and have dropped time off my PB. I understand there are still significant time improvements to be had with current setup, but what i really wanted to get a better idea of was at what power level are most GTR drivers content? Is it just a case of you always get used to the power? I've heard lots of people running -5s with around 350kw saying that the power delivery just 'feels' much faster than the -9s. What about you Ash, are you happy with your current -5 setup at the moment? Do you know what i mean about the -5s feeling faster when they come on boost? Yep, absolutley understand this, and I do have budget for a rebuild when/if it happens, again i was just more curious regarding at what power level other GTR drivers were content, since i've become used to 300awkw pretty quickly. Interesting you say this Daniel, i've seen one of our fellow sau members make 380kw on his gtr with hks gtss + e85. Possibly something to consider as an alternative to -5s to get up to my desired power level of around 370awkw.
  23. I was thinking that, but more boost means more strain on the motor right? It's also a matter of not knowing what power level will make me happy. A few others i've spoken to say that they've been in 400kw GTRs that felt amazingly fast, but my car feels so controlled and smooth in power delivery that it just doesn't excite me as much anymore.
