Thanks Slim_Mat, it really annoys me when people just assume that the klms have been wound back without having all the facts. 1. I mentioned that it stopped working immediatley after a pressed it whilst driving(which is quite common from my research ). 2. I only wanted suggestions as to how to fix or whether to buy a new one. 3. Before i purchased the car i had a full comp test and made sure that klms where representative of other wear/tear marks of the car.

Hi Guys, My GTR odomoter has been working when it feels like it, and more often than not NOT ticking over. It started ever since i pressed it while driving, and it seems to have got stuck somehow? Anyway i am going to pull it out this weekend to see if i can fix it but i was wondering is this type of thing fixable or should i scrap it and buy a new cluster? Cheers, Harry

haha actaully people have mentioned that blue flames come out of my exhuast at night now that i come to think about it. I didnt think anything of it but now i guess i know why.. Regardless, i will be getting this changed next week dont want to have any problems with the epa.

Are you 100% sure? If thats the case i will be really pissed, my mechanic that did the prepurchase inspection didnt tell me anything either.. I have seen Catco Metal cats with similiar designs.(link)

Hi Guys, I was fitting my exhaust yesterday and took the heat sheild off from the cat convertor and realised that it was just a metal pipe which joins with the front pipe. This worried me becuase i thought that maybe someone had removed the cat?? - $10000 fine right there!! But then someone told me that it could be a Metal Cat converter which is still legal? Anyway hopefully someone can shed some light here are the pics below: *I only bought this car 2 months ago and it passed roadworth with this so i assume it must be legal?? Gotcha, thanks guys. I guess i am just worried that a turbo back exhaust system wont increase power that much without the dump pipes.. Do you think that i will notice a big power difference if i just upgrade the front pipes and cat back exhaust? Anyone have experience with before and after? Thanks again.

Ok cool, so i guess what your saying is the power gains from stock gtr turbos with a new dump pipe will be minimal..? The only thing is that i was thinking of running 1 bar of boost(which apparently my turbos can handle comfortably?) If i were to run 1 bar of boost does this mean that i should conider purchasing a dump pipe to ensure better air flow and longer life of turbos? Cheers.

Hi All, I am about to purchase a cat back exhuast and i also was thinking of upgrading my front and dump pipes.. Do you really need to upgrade both for max power gains or just the Front Pipe? All input and opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Harry

Thanks for the input guys, i can wait to get an exhaust on, it just sounds so restricted stock!! I have heard some other R33 GTR's out there with exhaust and front pipes and they just sound unbelievable with a really deep note.. One thing i have found is that is really hard to source a good complete system and i may need to buy cat back separate and grab some front pipe later..
