R33-RB26DETT

When i let my car warm up in the morning, i let it sit there for a about 3 minutes. But i've noticed that sometimes there is quite a lot of black oily soot that comes out onto the asphalt from my exhaust. Is this normal? I'm hoping it's just because my car is running really rich? I had my car compression tested a couple months ago and all cylinders were perfect so I imagine that this would be quite normal for a car running rich right?

Ah well, i just ended up ordering this one 155-A014 Nissan - Type A - ID 67mm - Bolt 105-107mm Fingers crossed it fits, i'll post back here to let others know because it was seriously painful getting the right answers anywhere.

Yep, i know that it won't make my car legal. The problem is that i don't know which ECV will fit my 3.5" inch exhaust? Nengun supplied the attached info sheet, and i asked them what the internal pipe diameter is but they haven't got back to me. You can see that i've highlighted in red the area i'm trying to figure out if it's 89.9mm (3.5"inches) to see if it will fit my exhaust. Anyone have any ideas or experience?

Thanks mate, but I cab by measure the pipe because its in transit. I've seriously got no idea which ecv will fit.

The reason I ask is because I want to know which apexi ecv will be compatible? Anyone know which one to get?

I just bought this exhuast. It's a 3.5" Inch HKS exhaust but I don't know what the internal pipe diameter is. When they quote an exhaust as being 3.5" does that mean that the internal pipe diameter is this width? or is it smaller?

He's just jealous, and is most probably trying to make himself feel better. Do you really care what someone who obviously craves the attention of others thinks? A true car enthusiast doesn't want to get looks from others, they drive the car because they love it. You made the right choice, and it's not like your car is common. In fact, your car will almost certainly become a classic, given that it's a GTR V-SPEC and Series 3. If I were you though, i'd keep the original wheels and try to keep as much of the original parts as possible because in the future it will help it to retain it's value.

I have an R33 Nismo 320km dash, but a faulty tachometer. I only need to replace the tachometer, i'm happy to either have the standard v-spec tacho or the nismo one.

Hi guys, I've got an R33 Nismo Dash, and all of a sudden the tachometer has started jumping around all over the place. My question is how can i order just the tachometer to replace? Or is it worthwhile getting it sent off to an auto electrician to repair? Thanks, Harry

managed to fix it myself Just a simple problem...

Whilst I was installing my head unit in my car, I accidentally crossed a wire and i'm sure I heard a fuse blow somewhere.. However, when I checked the corresponding AUDIO fuse on the interior fuse box it was working fine. I even checked the AUDIO fuse in the boot! The RED/WHITE cable which was returning a positive contant 12V battery current before I crossed the wire now isn't anymore. Also my Clock in the dashboard has stopped working, which makes sense since I believe that the radio and clock work of the same fuse/circuit right? So i'm out of ideas, what the hell have i screwed up? Any ideas guys as i'm really upset with myself about this!

Any suggestions for someone that can install an alarm?

Hi guys, I've just purchased my R33 GTR and I need to install a 3 point ADR standards immobiliser, is anyone able to recommend someone good that can come out and install the alarm at my place?
