  1. wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww colin that is sexy!!
  2. haha 20psi at 3500rpm ??? dreaming! lol my gt35 on my stock rb26 hits 20psi at 4400rpm and thats with a 1bar spring, it could possibly come down to 4200 or so with a 20psi spring setup in the wastegate, im also running poncams
  3. This is my setup, i merely rotated the standard fittings at the back of the cam covers by 90 degrees and connected it all up as per the pic below: (yes i know its missing an air filter lol) There is an oil return fitting on the bottom of the catch can which is just blocked off. gives me the return option if i wanted to do that The catch can is baffled and i have never had any oil come into the catch can so im not sure if its because the setup works well or im just not driving the car hard enough
  4. that is car pornography right there!! very hot mate.. very hot!!
  5. Price drop to $28,000! I may consider a revised price if you BYO wheels but i really cannot be bothered removing anything else and I am no longer interested in swaps as I have a new daily lined up already.
  6. liking the pics guys, any reason as to why you used a cosworth hg instead of a nitto?
  7. they sound exactly like my -7s... hah just wait till you finally go for a big single ill never go back from my gt35, love itttttttttt
  8. the quench distance is measured from the face of the head where the squish pad actually is to the top of the piston at TDC, skimming the head doesnt change that distance, a thinner or thicker headgasket will change the distance between the quench pad and piston which will yield a different 'quench distance' other things that will change the squish is machining the block face and or machining top of the piston by a few thou - i dare say that if you do decide to shave some material off the pistons it may have adverse affects on the piston if too much is taken off
  9. insane build mate, you are living the dream, kudos!
  10. sard ftw! the 700cc sards are a great drop in injector with no fuss
  11. beautiful work by clinton as always loving the progress Nick!
  12. argh... to much awesome in one thread its just not fair
  13. Ive tried KU31's and i had problems with them at high speed and shit wearing characteristics. Have you ever driven on 595s? Considering they are a relatively hard compound they still grip VERY well in the wet compared to other tyres that suit daily driving and supposedly last long also. If i was to buy tyres for my gtr again i would buy federals again no doubt about it, im pretty fussy about daily tyres and im happy with them in every aspect! As for a track tyre i would definitely buy a softer tyre, possibly toyo t1rs but why drive on a soft high performance tyre on public roads if ur not going to use them to their full potential? I dont get why people knock a tyre if they havent tried it.
  14. tyres for less on ebay is where i got my 595s from, great tyre, 4 friends of mine have also bought the 595 ss's, all of them are happy just as i am

  22. "Butchered head where the 10c piece sized bit of bearing bounced around at 8000rpm." I dont quite understand how a piece of the bearing gets into the cylinder? None the less, good luck with the build and sorry to hear about the wheels mate, shit like that isnt even a bad joke.. what wheels were they? te37?
  23. Fair enough bud! Haha cheers, I'm still waiting for the results from your beast ya know!

Could have made more power on the same boost but was tuned for my piece of mind. Dyno Graph Some things you might want to know: The engine is in excellent condition, I have compression tested it twice since owning it got 170psi accross all cylinders both times. I am more than happy to do this test again for interested parties. The engine had its first 100,000km service at 66,000km before i owned it. Timing belt, bearings, water pump, seals etc were all changed. When I installed the poncams 4,000kms ago I changed the timing belt and bearings again just to be on the safe side even though they were in pretty good nic. I have serviced the car myself every 5,000kms with fully synthetic penrite oil, the gearbox has redline lightweight shockproof which is less than 1,000kms old. Transfer case, front and rear diff oils were changed under 10,000kms ago. The engine has no leaks, it is spotless and always has been. The body isnt perfect (or maybe im just too fussy) so dont expect a showroom condition GT-R, it has a few imperfections but the colour seems to hide them quite well which is why they never really bothered me.. I will let the car do the rest of the talking as a quick drive will get your blood rushing Price: $29,000 Call 0401 564 822 or send me a PM if Interested.
