  1. Good lifting, I know it was a max effort, work on keeping your knees locked once they lock, also try to stop the hips from rising early
  2. Make sure you calorie intake supports it, especially protein. Concentrate on your compounds with linear progression. 30-40mins should be plenty to get out your sets. If you've gotten weaker, reset, start again.
  3. 14months (edit: and counting.) in one shop for the same thing, 3months before it was touched.
  4. Its pretty obvious from the available supra graphs that the 6466 out performs the 6766 unless its at its peak. Which is like any smaller turbo compared to a larger variant generally
  5. Depends I guess, your training methods have proved to be slow progressing in the max/1rm scale (not starting an argument).. So they must affect each other. If you focused on one or the other in cycles I'd assume you'd have greater (quicker) results in both areas. Most training cycles start with higher volume/intensity in the earlier weeks and taper down to peaking. But, they are generally always reps for more weight, not weight for more reps.
  6. If it makes you feel any better, I keep up to date.
  7. I was under the impression that anything around 8rm+ doesn't have the carry over to 1rm.
  8. Congrats on the squat nick
  9. doesn't work
  10. What sort of belt to you use? Unfortunately, it's usually the straw that breaks the camels back.
  11. Imo a belt just allows you to apply more pressure when creating the internal 'belt' using your stomach. If it allows you to squat 10kg more, thats your quads, thorasic, CNS, etc. all getting used/havin to that 10kg heavier load, yet you're still applying the same pressure, if not more, due to resistance of the belt.
  12. Compared to every other internal pump surge tank or?
  13. Aftermarket Industries do this setup with the Holley Dominators too, 5l intank, can fit 3 pumps.
  14. so just a complete unit, instead of buying exhaust housings separately... no different to anything else anyone has used to bolt them on.

    New Motor

should start a build thread in the projects section
  16. I have a friend that is a tailored pants kind of guy. I don't use 5x5, but I'll get there just the same!
  17. I'm an easy 86kg@179cm, not lean, not big enough. I've put on 10kg weight (probabaly 50% functional/muscle) and 50-60kg to my squat 1rm in last 12months. Legs are where a lot of the muscle has gone. Stick legs, gone up 2-3 pant sizes. I've always done a powerbuilding type split, I do Squats,Bench,Deads,Military as a strength exercise using powerlifting cycle templates., accessories are more hypertrophy.
  18. Thanks Leesh, hoping to get 200 in couple weeks
  19. New rep pb tonight, 175x5. Fifth was a grinder.
  20. nice. Good choice
  21. looks good, what did you go with?
  22. load up those pictures and give us more updates!
  23. Certainly is a great environment and they all make you feel more than welcome. Powerlifters just want to see everyone lift more to make the world a better place, everyone is there for the same reason. Was exactly the same at the slaughterhouse novice comp couple of weeks ago.
