I see where youre coming from Jman, but id put them in as not many people really want to have to pull a head or engine out more than required! sump has to come out to be modded, so id pull the head, fit restrictors, get a decent sump with gates, fittings for your breathers.. dont do the head mod...i can name quite a few big names that do not fit it. get a decent breathing setup with decent catch can.. done... if you really want a safe engine, upgrade the oil pump. but id just wait till it pops, then rebuild time!!

The engine mounts are attached to the Xmember, so no matter how far you space it, wont make any difference with sump clearance, if you did this mod, you would of had more clearnace between your touching bonnet and timing cover though

But it doesn't have the point where the rear head drain does not work as a drain because the welsch plug is higher than oil......

if it was a GTT with gtr badges it would be like the chev on a S pack commo, but with a 26 in it, would be like a SS with chev badge, cause the 26 is a gtr motor, SS has a Chev motor, my point being, having a 26 motor its still crap... a GTR is GTR credit due, 26 RWD is good! what if a silvia had a Toytota badge? JZ ftw!

Buy the Best Oil Pump you possible can, NITTO are well priced, any of the jap brands, youd want to know the condition is A1 before purchasing second hand. You'll want a bigger sump, also read the Oil Control Thread.. Balancer, Oil Pump and Oil control are very important
