  1. Go with 6boost or Powertune for AUS, or contact RIPS in NZ, he may be able to help you out locally
  2. small would be a .81ish A/R or a .84ish split pulse/twin scroll. will be capable of making 400+rwkw or 540+hp engine will handle the turbo, depends how much boost you run through it though. the hydraulic lifters will be 'possibly' the weak link depending on psi and power

    Rb26

for sale i have a complete, running RB26 out of a R32 GTR. 133 xxx kms complete meaning from cam covers to sump, inlet and exhaust side, adjustable cam gears has R33 Vspec turbos with braided lines all piping included dump pipes front pipes will basically be a drop in and turn key affair.(will need ecu, loom if going into something other than a GTR). can be seen and heard running, will not be taken out of car until a sale is confirmed. only removing due to an upgrade. asking $4500 contact me via PM
  4. very good point, but some people dont like the fact either way. me not being one of those!!
  5. length of crusie i rekon he is talking about. the first proposed doesnt have any gravel and will probably take less time as people wont be driving at snail pace on 10+km highway (lake highway is gravel)
  6. lakes gravel road has been recently done, not too rough. but gravel is gravel, no way around it
  7. let us know where youre headed and we could all have 1 or 27 with you!
  8. paradise to sheffield and (bridle track through kimberley to elizabeth town) is also part of a targa stage. he has picked some of the best driving roads about
  9. a friend has a RB24 down here with a 3071 on it toff and its great!good response and power. could imagine it would be better? on a 25
  10. a thicker one will be good if you want to bring the compression ratio down, but why use such high comp piston just to bring it down with a 1.8mm gasket? id seriously recommend some rods, for an extra 600ish youll be safe, as now ull have a 350-400kw engine with stock rods, i dont see it lasting, no matter what rpm you keep it too,its rather cheap piece of mind in my opinion. I have a cefiro, and an ever changing RB30 build started off similar to yours, now its ending up similar to some of the other active users on here.just the addiction. I dont know much, ive got most/all of my info off here, so just ask away if you have any Q's and cant find em
  11. just use a new stock headgasket, Rob from RIPS reckons they are good for 700hp or buy one of the new gasket kits so you have everything you need!or a cometic gasket. any of them will suit, depends on how much you want to spend! 1.2mm would be a good thickness for it, to suit the bore obviously
  12. ill go have a look when possible for you
  13. ive got a mate that has wrx seats in his 32 GTR, ive never looked at the mounting of them, but they are in there!
  14. 800cc should be plenty sufficient, a mate of mine ran a 26 with a RB20 loom, not much of a difference. a GT35 would suit that power goal perfectly i think
  15. id be going with a GT35 or equivalant for that sort of power level, the TO4Z is probably oversized for it. probably around 22psi with thre GT35? depends on the tune and specs of turbo plenty of threads on here giving examples. around 50mm gate would be required for good boost control. im no expert so a cant really recommend anything, but id go with the biggest drop in cams you can get if not doing any head modifications
  16. the TO4Z is never going to spool as quick as you mentioned in an earlier post, its more of a turbo for 400+ rwkw. a GT35 would even suit a bit better, with the 25 head, depending on condition, it is known to have valve float issues at the 350+rwkw mark. make sure you get a good quality manifold to match the turbo also. depending on what power figure you think you want, base your turbo selection around that, but be clear of what you want as the TO4Z is a larger turbo
  17. try looking at this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/26...ml&hl=huddy should do what youre after
  18. check the grooves on the pulleys, they need to be the same as the balancer. 26 balancer = 26 ancillary pulleys
  19. greg is a great man! just waiting for my head to arrive then it all goes together! similar to yours surprisingly
  20. stock h/gasket and bolts are good for up to 6-700hp thats from the keyboard of arguably the worlds best RB30 builder
  21. so make the car look completely different??
