  1. Anyone looked into the Albins GTR gearbox upgrade? I think I saw something kicking around a few months ago
  2. Yeah, fronts 55mm and rear 25mm
  3. Quick measure on my car - would need a 55mm spacer to clear the brakes with a flat backed rim
  4. I remember checking out the Sub Zero R33 drag car years ago, it ran a similar wheel setup to what you want to run. It had pretty thick bolt on spacers up the front - maybe 50mm or so. I'd start with a space saver spare, then work out how much offset it runs to clear the front caliper, then you can work out how big a spacer you'll need to clear the front caliper with a flat back convo pro
  5. They are for your HICAS It seems you have a HICAS lock bar installed, which replaces this, hence the pile of connectors with nothing to connect it too. Does your HICAS light stay on all the time?

    Gtr Hire

A mate of mine is going to Japan and they do a 24hr hire of a 35 GTR for $490
  7. What logo's are you after Jimmy? I use Illustrator quite a bit and could probably make an outlined eps from an image
  8. Is it worth the hassle for another 20kw? I'd be looking at something to make 300-320kw and make the change over worth while if you want more power. What RPM do you get full boost with the 2540 (HKS I assume?)
  9. Better of trying to find a defected 200sx or similar and pick it up cheap. Most likely will have some nice bits on it, hence the defect, and will be lots of fun Look up Drift Sales SA on facebook, there are always lots of defected or track only cars up for sale
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/421233-r34-gtt-with-gtr-front-end-conversion-rims-and-mfd-how-to-do-info-pics-parts-listing-prices-etc/
  11. Provident Crash Repairs at Glynde are pretty good also, very well priced
  12. I have a Nistune ecu now, so I don't need this anymore. Perfect for anyone wanting a spare to install a Nistune Board etc $150 posted Australia wide
  13. Bit of an update, a few months on and the new new bearing is the same as when I put it in Tiny amount of play in the tie rod, but nothing too serious
  14. I tested them quickly with the 15mm spacers I had on, and they stuck out the guard around 20mm. The reason for changing is I'd rather run rims without spacers, and prefer my rims sitting close to flush with the guards but not hanging out like some Mexican gangster's car Caliper clearance was all I was really concerned about but it sounds like they should be fine, cheers guys
  15. Hey guys, anyone know if 8.5 +35 offset Koya Drifteks will clear the front brakes on a R34 GTT?
  16. The car scene isn't dead it seems, the meet has been cancelled with over 1500 people confirmed going and only 600 car parks available
  17. A mate told me that there is a Mighty Car Mods meet at St Kilda car park this Sunday. Although I'm not a massive fan of their video's, I might pop down for a look. Apparently there are over 800 people confirmed so far that are going. Will give a good indication of where the car scene is in some respect. The last meet I went to was the Ben Simpson Cruise this year, and I really enjoyed it. Over 1000 cars and everyone was pretty cool while chatting to them about their cars at the start and finish
  18. I remember seeing this car when it was the fastest GTR in Aus at the time, when Kingsley owned it. Bit of history here for ya - http://www.autospeed.com/cms/article.html?&title=King-of-the-Road&A=0854 Nice car, should have hit you up for a ride Matt!
  19. Had 245/40 on my rear rims, they are 10"gave it a semi stretched look. Nothing crazy however
  20. That's dodgy as. The fake de-reg is the kicker for me, that's fraud. if it was my 50k, I'd be asking for my deposit back in full and reporting them to the relevant people.
  21. The car looks great, however unless you can get someone who really knows their stuff to look over the car, or a trusted mechanic I'd be cautious. The water pump change does hint at it having done more kms than stated. When my 100,000km service was done last year at 101,000kms, the water pump was in excellent visual condition and my mechanic commented how you'd most likely get another 100,000kms out of it, but we changed it anyway. So I would say it has done at least 100,000kms, perhaps more. I'd work on the basis of the car doing at least 100,000 + what ever is on the speedo now. The general condition of the interior points to a car that was well cared for, but well used at the same time. Is there any stickers/writing around the timing belt cover to hint at replacement?
  22. Good luck with the sale Glyn, great looking car
  23. If your making 260kw @ less than 14psi, I'd be winding your existing turbo up to 20-22psi and seeing how close you get. You'll need to run this sort of boost to crack 300 if you swapped out your turbo for those mentioned anyway looking at various results from others running 300+
