  1. That is awesome! Get a video or something of that posted up, I want to hear it! Great stuff
  2. Mobil 1 5-50W everyone has a differant opinion though Mines done 110,000kms of me driving it, 167,000kms total and still goes good
  3. Gemini...... with a Holden sticker on the window lol! Seriously though, I have seen a brand spanking new M3 Convertible here in SA with a young P plate greek/italian girl behind the wheel I have also seen a new'ish Porshe turbo with L plates on driving around the city, he pulled up out the front of his rich boys school I saw a P-Plate driver in Melbourne in may driving a nice red 360 Modena, plates said something like 'CREDIT' or somehting like that. He was giving it some to, so I thought that was pretty cool, most people you see driving nice cars drive them like grandma's Make me sick how much cash some people have spare
  4. Wise move running that boost if its going to be used on the track. Sounds like a good turbo so far, looking forward to comparing dyno sheets and seeing where the 2860 makes power in relation to mine. Good results so far
  5. How much further back do they bring your steering wheel towards you?
  6. Same gear, in 4th. You can see how mine drops away power quick quickly after it makes max power. This dyno is done in 4th, you can see how I want more top end! Very keen to see the results/specs of quincy's 2860 on the RB20 and how it compares to my dyno. Keen to look at other turbo options now
  7. I reckon it would make some good numbers with big'ish boost stuffed into it One of these turbo's is on my short list, along with 2530,2535 etc so I want to get a idea what its like with a bit more boost! 20psi is about right I reckon, that way you get good value out of a turbo upgrade If you could post a dyno that would be great! Whats your boost level you have settled for Roy Nice power levels too quincy I have attached my last dyno sheet, I want to see how it compares to the 2510 running 1.5bar. I reckon this turbo would be great for drift
  8. Did you run it with anymore boost? I want to see how much power they make a 20-22psi
  9. Yeah, I have heard of the getting quite hot. HID kits would be quite hot I'd imagine!
  10. Anyone installed a H1 HID kit on there car? Thinking of maybe going down this route......
  11. http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bblist.php?brand=Raybrig
  12. I think the ones I just replaced (the low beams) where H1 bulbs
  13. Yeah, they are alligned ok, just on low-beam they are piss weak, I cant get them up any higher through adjustment either High-beams are good, low beams are shithouse
  14. Anyone have any suggestions to make my headlights brighter? ie what globes to use? Thanks, Chris
  15. I think comparing R32/33 runs should be pretty similar, I think there are very minor differances between the two in 4th gear
  16. Even though the runs where performed in shootout mode, that cannot factor in the lack of oxygen in the air, its only a air temp correction, so I wasn't surprised that most where down a bit. Its all relative though, as we all ran on the same day in the same conditions, on the same dyno etc Nice run of yours, bit of a hard act for me to follow straight up afterwards with the ol RB20
  17. Yeah, allot of people where down on power from what I saw. I think, typically, Boostworx dyno is down a bit compared to others. The dyno room doesn't get good airflow, so the air your car is sucking in isn't the most productive for power, especially on a dyno day where you get lots of cars in and out
  18. Yeah! I want to see what torque figures you guys where making out of the RB25's for comparison with my RB20
  19. At the wheels? so around 220rwkw I'd say get a 2530 then if you want response. If you want mega response but slightly less power 190-200rwkw then get a 2510 like I have I want more top end, so will be looking at getting a 2530 at some stage Sounds llike with your maniflod though you could go for something external gate, most external gate turbo's sacrifice some response for more power up top. 2530 will bolt up to the standard manifold
  20. http://www.bd4s.com.au/turbo_table.htm Rated at 420hp, a mate of mine has a 2835ProS on RB25, makes 300+rwkw. Runs a .64 exhaust housing, internal gate, very responsive On a RB20, it might be a little laggy, but with a decent manifold, decent boost (1.5bar) and maybe a set of cams, it would probably work alright on a RB20. If I you could though, maybe try and swap to a .64 exhaust housing. Would make allot of power, thats for sure
  21. Waiting also I PM'd Sydneykid on friday and was told still waiting for springs Im in a bit of a shit situation as I sold my coilovers and have borrowed some suspension to put in the car for the time being, but I need to get this back, hopefully by the weekend Hoping they will be here this week, as i'm off for a bit of a break from work soon and want to get the car sorted before I go
  22. Good to see so many Skylines on saturday and catch up with a few people Had to leave early due to other commitments, thanks to everyone who organized it and big thanks to Boostworx for the day and for all the stuff done on my car Here's my chart, nice torque for a little 167,000km old RB20 Need a bigger turbo!
  23. I'd rather the Black HKS R34 in the latest HPI mag I'd take the Mines car at a push.......
  24. Your bike mates are probaly going so fast by the time the camrea takes the picture they are out of the frame!
  25. Yeah, agree, a good manifold would help if you are running a bigger turbo. 2510/2530 seem to run pretty good with the stock manifold, I think a 2535 would benefit from a decent exhaust manifold. 2530 i'm not so sure, it might bring it on sooner, but I reckon it would then struggle up top I'm going to video my handcontroller to work out how quick it comes on, when driving its hard to see it all and concentrate on driving
