  1. Yep, for both As new condition, never been fitted
  2. Selling a pair of N1 front bar inserts. Unpainted, fibreglass Bought them a while back and haven't got around to fitting them Asking $100ono, I will pay postage Chris
  3. Typical media hype really, on the back of all that Commodore club stuff, its bound to happen Good Luck with your case against the cops!
  4. Your car got impounded hey.......... something about the car sliding around a corner in town Saw it on the news on saturday, the plates where WWWDOT Not good press for Skyline owners in this state
  5. All done....... pretty straight forward really found the pin was the easiest part Gettting that hose fitting under the master cylinder un-done after over a decade proved quite a pain in the ass! It helps if your 10mm open ended spanner is indeed 10mm, not 11mm like mine was! I ended up taking my drivers seat out, made the whole thing easier, as you can get under the pedals heaps easier Looks like my clutch master was original too, lasted 160,059kms approx 70,000 of those with the decent clutch Quite easy to do really, cheers for all the input, it helped allot, Chris
  6. Interesting, congrats for thinking outside the square on your project! Keen to see what comes of this. First thing I would be doing is getting hold of some sort of solid lifter conversion kit. I know of a RB25 which had GTR lifters/spings and cams put in, so it shouldn't be a problem. I reckon if you get rid of the hydraulic cam acuation, there is no reason that 9,000rpm couldn't be dragged out of the poor 'ol 20 Power = torque x rpm, so with that turbo setup, you should be able to nudge 300rwkw if you can keep it from dropping power up top If I had the cash, I'd do a solid lifter conversion on my car, as I reckon the standard hydraulic lifters are in part to blame in the quest for power after 6000rpm in a RB20
  7. Would say its been done in 3rd gear looking at the speed, so 80km in 3rd from memory is around 4500rpm?
  8. Most Bosch pumps get noisy when they get hot or a run low on fuel, was it on a full tank or was the level quite low?
  9. I remember now.... R33 GTSt fit R32 GTR, 33 GTR and R34 GTT etc, the 32 shares the same castor rod as Silvia/Cefiro
  10. My turbo appears to be a 2510, makes 200rwkw no probs. Its struggling to make more, but the mid range punch at 1.3bar makes it quite fun to drive I would sacrifice a bit of lag though for more top end any day though...... It does drop off after 6100prm, but this is more cam related I think, as the turbo is still making full boost. Never been in a 2530 equipped RB20, if I where you I'd get the new 2530KAI, that would be perfect, or if you don't mind lag, a 2835ProS with a .63 exhaust housing Mine has made 200rwkw at .9bar, and makes 208rwkw at 1.3bar, but I want to have a go at tuning it at 1.15bar and adding more timing, as I think it would make more power up top due to less boost/pressure in the exhaust housing They are a good turbo though, I would probably rather a 2535, but seems most people are only making a few kW's more than my 2510, so its a bit of a hard call my 2510 make full boost at just over 3600rpm in 4th gear
  11. Well, about a month on these now, quite impressed! Easily the best value tyre I have had on my car, getting a set on the rear in a few weeks. Feel much better than the FM901's they replaced, very quiet too!
  12. R33/32 GTS are the same I think, GTR 32/33/34 and 34GTT having slightly longer bolts, but the same length etc, so they should be fine Put them on and find out!
  13. Hopefully picking mine up this arvo if its in! Any tips or pointers to make it less painfull for me?
  14. Nice clip that one! Does anyone have the early 90's video of the Williams engine dyno footage (I think they where running Renault engines then) Been on TV a few times, havent seen it in ages
  15. That video is awesome!
  16. downloading now! Farken quick guys! Reason asking is that there is a cool video on the Renault F1 site, but you cant download it, its only a stream it
  17. Long shot, but do any of you guys have the video of any F1 engines on engine dyno's?
  18. Mine still the same, apart from swapping knock sensors I have given up! I did some on road testing, adding fuel and pulling timing and it didn't really change one bit, so I put it down to some other noise going on in the engine bay. My exhaust sits really close to my cars floor, and has no flex joint, so I am guessing it could be picking up that? Its safe to assume, if its not knocking on the dyno, and you can throw more timing at it before it starts to audibly detonate or you see unburnt fuel puffs out the exhaust, that its just a funny sensor, much like mine! I will keep persisting though, it mus tbe something silly! I thought about it the other day, I remember giving my knock sensor wires a fair old strech when my spanner became caught when I was putting in my oil cooler adapter on the block? At the moment my commander has Water Temp, Boost, Speed and Revs on it, the knock readout is in my bad books and will remain hidden until I find a fix
  19. Ok, so its a job that could be done in a few hours on a weekend? I might go and grab one this week and have a go on the weekend Was yours leaking? My fluid level keeps dropping every few days and there is all fluid on the pedal/carpet behind the pedal Did you do just the master, or the slave as well?
  20. Did you guys install them yourself? Mine is leaking all down my clutch pedal!
  21. Just Jap in NSW are a dealer, might pay to get onto them. Mine was a s/h unit from FAT32
  22. What broke on your current diff? I have been told the centres are much stronger in the aftermarket mech. lsd's Others might be able to shed some light on the strength, but I have never heard of one breaking, only the plates wearing out and needing to be changed Mine seems pretty tough (ATS 1.5way) BUT.... I never broke my old diff either, it just would open wheel constantly......... Kier Wilsons car used a ATS 1.5 way mech. centre in the rear of his 32 (well as far as I know he still does) That cops a fair hiding! Most of the drag 'R's run some sort of mech. lsd, we dont get much RWD drag coverage from Japan in mags really, so its hard to know what they use
  23. Theres a cusco 2way to suit R33 in the for sale section now
  24. Ok cool, I have got some of that in the shed from dads 4WD, will give it a run Thanks mate
