  1. I've always wanted to do something like this
  2. Check your pcv valve is functioning and not clogged up
  3. Do they Intima Sr pads bite better than the ss compound Currently have the ss on the front and would like a bit more initial bite
  4. First decent clean after all the winter weather, 245's all round now and pulled the front guards a bit more Cam gaskets have arrived so still deciding on painting the cam covers or not before I take them off
  5. My old 32 was my daily for 6 years, running 200 odd for most of that time If you can get a 2530 or similar turbo (I had a 2510) and set it up to run 18-20psi it's not overly laggy and provides good top end During the same time I had 2 mates with 33's making similar peak power and the extra cc's plus the vct made them a much quicker car everywhere If I was my car, being a daily I'd go rb25. Even with a stock turbo setup making 200kw it would be a quick daily
  6. Is the headlight xenon or normal halogen
  7. How do you attach the seat belt buckle as its part of the factory seat yeah?
  8. I bought my 2535 cheap second hand on the basis of rebuilding it The cartridge was dry, and after oiling it and letting it sit for a while with oil in the cartridge I took it to a turbo shop and they said it all felt fine Been on for 18 months at 255kw and still going great Anywhere that sells garret turbos should be able to rebuild it if required
  9. I can't see the first link being 10" wide all round at +18 offset, they seem to sit within the guard line! I have a sedan, and the front guards are the same as the coupe, and the rears fit much the same as the front, maybe 10-15mm more clearance The 370z rims seem to have a fair bit of camber to squeeze them under Here's how mine fit at 18x9.5 +26, 245's on them. It's as wide as I'm willing to go as its a daily that I like to drive without smashing rims into guards etc I couldn't get much more under the front with normal camber settings
  10. I don't think they will, I test fitted my old rears - 9.5+38 on the front of my 34 with a 15mm spacer and there was about 10mm clearance at most 10" and +38 would be up against the suspension I think Currently using 9.5 +26 and have about 10mm clearance
  11. No word from hy_rpm so if anyone is keen let me know
  12. One for the list, 4 door 18x9.5 +26, 245/40 all round Fronts I had to roll and pull the guards, rear I have just rolled the lip a little. Camber is 1.5 front and 1 rear Nismo Stune suspension so it's not overly low, firm but not hard Spring rates Good clearance on suspension on full lock etc
  13. Replied, all yours if you want them
  14. Inovit ST15 18x9.5 +26 all round went on last week Needed a bit of a pull to fit at the front with 245's on Really happy how it's looking now. Other than usual servicing that's been about it for the last few months Can cover gaskets and half moon seals going to be replaced shortly too
  15. Used, but in excellent condition No missing nuts Nissan thread, 5x114.3 In SA, will post Australia wide for $50
  16. Any updates on these mate? What pads did you have previously?
  17. Suit sedan or coupe for the exhaust?
  18. A while between updates - mainly because nothing has changed! Everything is running sweet, really enjoying driving it the way it is at the moment Just servicing and tyres happening over the last 12 months Switched from Penrite Racing 10 to Nulon Synthetic 10-40 last service, actually seems to be a bit quieter in the valve-train so I'll use that from now on On the list of future things to do - - Replace shocks - the Nismo S-Tunes are getting a little tired, the back right makes the odd noise - Injectors... Although I'm in two minds as the next step will basically mean upgrading AFM also to support 300+kw. The 2535 would be lucky to have another 15-20kw hiding in it running pump 98, and being a daily I can't justify E85 given it's more than 98 at the moment - I'd love a new set of rims, just a bit bored with the current look Until then, keep enjoying it!
  19. Panasport c5c 5x114.3 wheels on Gumtree http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1102560249
  20. http://youtu.be/f5b9pooMjtA Saw this today, thought I'd share. Good results
  21. Had a thought today, instead of taping the coils up has anyone tried plastidipping them? I think they originally designed it as a insulation coating for tools, and it seems pretty heat resistant so I'm sure it would work It seems the tape doesn't stick well over time, and the ability to layer up the plastidip to get a thick coating means it should be pretty durable?
  22. Anyone have someone decent they've used for aircon repair/regas? Never used anyone before so thought I'd check here before ringing around Definatley need a regas, and possibly a small repair to one of the pipes up near the condenser
  23. If your getting it painted you could always get a fibreglass bonnet?
  24. Is that a comparison of 98 and E85?
