  1. very good point mate, didn't even think about that! I will give it a look tonight
  2. I will replace the seal, what about the fuel filler cap, I have pinched one of my R31 wagon, it seems to have much more thread on it and a much better seal, so hopefully that will work too
  3. Joel, do you have exhaust cam and CAS? Shaun is after these for a customer, I was going to pull them off my spare motor, but I would rather keep it whole
  4. I have a problem with the fuel tank/pump on my car I attended a trackday/driver training day at Mallala on friday, and suffered problems where I was loosing fuel from somewhere I took my pump out to find that the rubber seal (like a big ring) has been split and was allowing fuel to leak out. A mate of mine was behing me and said there was fuel coming off my back right wheel too, and my fuel filler cap kept coming un-done as well, also leaking fuel Does anyone else have these problems? Cheers, Chris
  5. no probs I went through it all with a mate of mine who runs a jap wreckers, it came down to R32 GTR or R33 GTSt as the only bolt on options Racebrakes does a bracket to suit standard R32 calipers, which lets you fit a R33/34 GTR Brembo size disk - 324mm!! I would have gone these, but my rims are 16x7.5 and the brakes wouldn't clear the rim. Price wise its pretty competitive, and a good option for those who want to run 17's all the time Roy runs this setup on his road/track car with great success Chris
  6. So it will be out for Christams next year most prob........... Great game, my fav. of all time, but I hate the delays, it sucks
  7. Same as R32 GTSt - 280mm rotor
  8. Can confirm that these bolt on no worries Just put them on my car on the weekend, everything fits like its meant to be I went for genuine R33 rotors, had them slotted and machined, and went for Racebrake's Comp 9 pads on the front and Comp 2's on the rear Bedded them in last night, and they stop heaps better than the stock 32 brakes Big reccomendation to other 32 owners who have done a few mods
  9. Cheers mate, it was good to catch up! Still in awe of the torque of the 3L, oneday I wouldn't mind a bigger motor. Dump pipe still not done, been delays with the fabricators, so its going up there as it was previous, but running less boost for safety sake, will take you for a drive someday soon, I am working through christmas but have a month of mid january, so I will have plenty of time to catch up Got my brakes on too, R33GTSt calipers, slotted 33 rotors and Racebrake Comp 9 pads up front and Comp 2 pads on the back, it stops awesome now - still bedding them in so it shoudl get even better
  10. Cheers guys, its for a advanced driver course which involves a few laps, so I will start of at 40 and then check them after a few laps
  11. Just want a general idea about what tyre pressure's to run for light track duties on normal road tyres Tyres are Dunlop FM901's, 225x50x16 on 16x7.5" P1 Racing rims Thinking around 36-38psi hot, but not sure, as I run them at around 36psi on the road? Cheers, Chris
  12. Bridgestone at Magill is now the SA distributor mate, everywhere else has to go through them so they are pretty much the cheapest around
  13. I'll sell you my slotted rotors and Type M brakes for $450 or near offer, the pads are ok (genuine Nissan) too
  14. R32 hand controller doesn't work with 33 either, it was mine Shaun tried Nice car BTW Chris
  15. What about adjusting the AAC valve so it idles nice when its cold (around 1000rpm) then use the PFC idle function when its warm? Seems to work for me
  16. MR33 - I have emailed you in regards to a HKS oil cap I purchased of you on the 1st of November and still haven't recieved it yet - please let me know whats going on etc, as its taken WAY too long. I have sent you a email asking for either the Oil cap or money back by this wednesday Chris
  17. Provident do the lot, they do alot of work for Viva Garage etc, so bodykits are no probs Paul is very fussy too, he is a good bloke to have work on your car
  18. Yeah, it was great to see the little Escort, it flew through the chicane, one of the few cars to really use the ripple strip to the fullest Nice to have a navigator that knows what they are doing too!! In regards to the handset, I know a R33 controller didn't work properly when I was at Morpowa ages ago watching them do a bit of tuning on some dudes 32 with a PFC
  19. Forgot to check the box last night, but the info here should provide you with enough to source a hand controller P.S - Roy, that car of your mates hauled major ass around the prolouge stage for the CA Rally, I think he ended up P1, he was by far the fastest throught the Senna Chicane where I was! Awesome stuff Shame about not catching up, will have to catch up when you are over next, or are you still here for the weekend? Chris
  20. No probs I'll let you know if I come accross any, took me a few months to find mine Chris
  21. On the back of the hand controller, these are the numbers - FCC2NT 020-00841 I think on the box it says something like 'Subaru/Nissan 020-0084' or something like that Chris
  22. Its not completley model specific, my hand controller said 'To Suit Subaru/Nissan' on it Can't remember the model number off the top of my head, but can have a look and find out tomorrow if you want Chris
  23. What sort of car is it for? I have a pair of R32 GTSt front calipers, they will be available in a week or so, after $450 including slotted front rotors Chris
