  1. Hi all, need to know what version of software the 32 GTSt PFC is ( AP Engineering version) Need to know, as I am looking at getting the FC-logit software and there site lists the FC-logit software as being the same for all FC operated R32/33/34 GTS's, but they don't know for sure without me giving them the software version From what I have been told, look under etc->sw version, you will see for example RB25DET v3.11. I am not sure what the RB20 PFC version is as I won't have mine for another week, and need to find out ASAP Thanks in advance, Chris
  2. drifta32 has one for sale - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...41&goto=newpost Chris
  3. I'd stick with the stock ecu, and get it chipped to suit. Sell the Blitz ecu, might be able to swap someone with a stock ecu and get a bit of cash for it, and get the stock ecu chipped 200rwkw is within the limits if stock injectors, I'd say cleaning yours would be much cheaper than getting replacemnt larger injectors! With the regualtor you have, 200rwkw with the stock injectors will be fine. Power Fc's are niether cheap or readily available locally. I have looked into pretty well every plug in option, the Wolf and Microtech products seem to be great ( depends on whos pushing the buttons to tune it ) and they all do the job. If 200rwkw is all your after, the stock ecu/injectors are fine, and your turbo would jjjuuussttt be capable of getting to around 200rwkw anyhow I will have my stock re-written ECU for sale soon, that is tuned for 200rwkw at 0.9 - 1.0 on 98 octane fuel with a 8200rpm rev limit if you are keen? No boost cut either so with a reg I reckon you could squeze 220rwkw out of it with the right turbo This is how I look at it - Injector clean ~ $350-400 Re-chipped ECU ~ $200-400 + boost for around 190rwkw with a RB25 turbo for around $700-800 or Power FC ~ $1500 Tune ~ $400 + boost for around 190rwkw with a RB25 turbo for around $1900 for essentially the same result except you have a fully tunable computer If your plans are for a bigger turbo in the future, then perhaps look at saving for a programmable ecu Keep in mind Clint32 managed to squeeze almost 240rwkw out of his RB20 with stock injectors and fuel pressure, his injectors where cleaned as well which helps a bit. His car ran a 12.8 at about 113mph too, so it was a very powerful setup with the stock injectors! From memory he had a 044 pump as well Hope that helps, Chris
  4. go to www.greenline.jp they can get them for a reasonable price keep in mind they are rare as hens teeth Chris
  5. Nah, I sent him that, the proper pick I'm sure every turbo owner has seen it at some stage
  6. see on ebay there are a couple of Q45 AFM there, for around $175 AU, hmmmmm.......
  7. The Blitz R34 D1 car, try find a mpeg somewhere of that, its one of the most spectacular drift cars I have seen The ex JMS Red R33 was also there, that sounded great, and there were a few other 'lines drifting quite well. I'd say its more down to personal preference, but most people choose the S13/S14/S15 it seems. They sound like a crap though compared to RB's only my opinion of course Chris
  8. yep, no probs. Greg is due up around 7, so anytime around then is fine. Look out for bin '86' again
  9. do you have the outer door/window rubber seals? will take them pending price and condition Chris
  10. sweet, so thats selectable in the PFC controller? Might have to look into that, cheers can't wait see yours up and running Chris
  11. Yeah, thought it would have a hard time after about 220rwkw Are you using PFC/Z32 setup on yours? hows it all coming along?
  12. Hi all, quick question, whats is the maximum power you can get out of RB20 (providing all the other shit is up to scratch) using a RB20 AFM? How do they compare with Z32 300ZX AFMs in regards to tunability? How would a RB20 AFM cope with 1.2 - 1.5bar boost being pumped through it? Hoping for around 230rwkw, is a Z32 AFM worth getting Just after a few answers, as I am getting some parts together for the next phase of my car Cheers, Chris
  13. Got these spare and no longer need them Oil and Water lines of my spare RB20, in great condition, come with banjo bolts, just need new washers $65 and can COD them anywhere in Australia at buyers expense open to offers These parts are hard to find complete and un-damaged Chris
  14. No probs mate. It was good to see that the overall standard has improved a great deal since the first few drift days I had seen. I think with Mallala eing used as well, the speeds where a lot greater than you'd see at Pt Gawler, so it was good to see. Nice mix of cars as well
  15. Will Fit 100% No Probs, GTS/GTR/32/33 seats all interchangable I have 33GTR seats in my 32GTSt, a mate has 32GTR seats in his 33GTS25T, has also had a 32GTSt drivers seat in his 33GTS25T at some stage as well, they all bolt in no probs Chris
  16. it 'should' outlast the car, so for the price it is good value For the improvemet in shift quality, it is well worth the extra cost over normal oil
  17. Clint, how sure are you that a S13 diff will bolt in? They are much easier to come across than a aftermarket diff for a R32! So if I find a S13 mech. diff, I'd just need the drive shafts form a S13, and then it would all bolt in? Cheers, Chris
  18. I have heard many people mention this, but have never heard of anyone getting it done. If you do, please let all of us know!!!!!!!1 Cheers for all of the replys Chris
  19. I have had it in for a few weeks now, heaps better than the previous oil. my 'box used to crunch shift from 3rd to 4th under load, it has cleared that right up. Everyone who has used it seems to swear by the stuff, only complaints I have heard is from people who have used the really lightweight stuff Also says on the container that its good for 400,000kms, so the price tag of jsut under $100 is well worth it IMO. Only need one container, and oyu will have a little bit left over from 1 Gallon Chris
  20. ok cool, I will give it a try, anything that feels tight and grabby, I will put to one side for further inspection Chris
  21. lightweight shockproof, blue in colour, comes in a one gallon contianer Autobarn sells pretty much everything mate
  22. cheers mate, will have a look at a few and see if I can spot one that is not a stockie So say the diff is on the ground, by itself, and I twist each side (where the axles bolt up) in the oposite direction, the stock lsd will allow this quite easily, while a mech. lsd will not allow you to do this?
  23. Pfitzer performance gearbox centre sells it, as does Autobarn Milend
  24. So your just replacing the whole shock/spring? Not hard to do, jack it up properly, take wheel off axle stands etc. Undo the two nuts on top of the strut tower so they are loose, but not off completley. Undo the nut that hold the bottom of the shock completley. Undo the nuts at the top of the shock completly and pull the suspension down, and it should come out of the top mount. Then slide it of the bottom mount and your done
  25. yeah mine is dying slowly, open wheels a bit no and then, crunchy in reverse and clunky in forward gears, so looking for a upgrade Anyone know if a 33 GTS25T diff would bolt in?
