  4. Just had my GTR bonnet on my GTSt painted there, they did a great job, better than expected Very well priced as well, turned it around in a few days, and colour has matched up very well (considering its a 10 year old car and each panel has faded slightly) Anyone lokking to get some paint work done, I would highly reccomend them Ph 8337 9325, they are located at Provident Ave, Glynde Thanks to Maxx for putting me onto then
  5. What oils would you guys reccomend then??
  6. the earth on the igniter box gets attached by one of the bolts that attach the igniter box to the cam covers
  7. 5000kms! I want something that will last at least 30,000km maybe redline isnt for me
  8. Cool make sure all the wires go back correctly, if its the same one I almost forgot to put back on, its the earth wire for the coils, it goes under the last bigish size bolt for the coils let everyone know how it goes

  10. Correct me if I am wrong, but the differance between the two is one is platinum and the other has a copper electrode BCRP6ES in my R32, with a few mods and they seem to be really good
  11. anyone have anything
  12. ok, what colour is it? do you have any pics of it?
  13. any pics of the gear and handbrake boots? are they stock or have they been re-done? Sorry to read about your car, it really sucks Regards, Chris
  14. Changing gearbox and diff oil over the weekend, thinking of using some Redline lightweight shockproof in the 'box and heavyweight in the diff Anyone have any thoughts weather this is a good thing or not, or any recommendations? Chris
  15. I was dissapointed Maybe I had to greater expectation, but thought it was pretty average, there where some good cars there, but the whole event lacked a certian buzz that I associate with the shows of previous years maybe its just me, who knows Doubt if I would go next year, unless there are a few big name cars there. None of the big name workshops there either, but the Skylines that where there were pretty good I'd give it a 2.5/5
  16. This is it - http://www1.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?...eMax=&SUBCATID=
  17. I have been running a Jaycar thermometer for about 18months in my car, it is located just before the bend going into the throttle body (near turbo etc) On the dyno (with dyno cell temps approx 25 degrees) it was holding 30 degrees after 3 runs. The dyno operator (Shaun at Boostworx) was impressed with the cooler, saying the thermo wrap that covers most of the plubming must be working a charm On road it seems to be about 5-10 degrees above ambient, at traffic lights etc it goes quite high, on one summers day it got to 85 degrees while at some traffic lights The thermometer cost me about $15 from memory, I will take a few pics of it Chris
  18. yeah it get driven around like I have my mum in the car.............. I would say for the money, you will be hard to find a better clutch IMHO
  19. also - it has seen off 5 sets of tyres in it life
  20. I got mine from Adelaide Clutch Services, who make them and supply Horsepowerinabox etc. Cost me about $220 for it to be installed, but I also got a lightweight cromoly flywheel as well so I didn't need any machinging done of the original - I'd say at a guess $250-300 to install it. Mods are HKS 2510 turbo and all the usual bits, making 200rwkw A mate of mine (Freebaggin) is making 280rwkw through the same clutch, and whatisname is making 299rwkw, both cars have run 12 sec 1/4's and the clutch has survived no probs They are a good clutch, and providing you don't ride them they will last for a long time. Ceramic type clutches don't last long if you ride them lots. I drive mine everyday in city traffic, and after a day or so you get used to the grabbines of it For the price they are terrific Chris
  21. I have a Exteme single, cushioned mutliple ceramic button one, with a heavy duty pressure plate. It has seen much abuse and 40,000km of life, and still feels great and doesn't slip They are about $550 from memory
  22. after a pair of 235/45/17 tyres only, must be of a high speed/load rating (no H rated stuff) In Adelaide, but don't mind paying freight, looking to spend about $250-300 but will consider all available Regards, Chris
  23. 140!! , in front of a few workmates
  24. Best to start of with a goal of how mch you are willing to spend - if its stock as a rock, I'd do the following 3" exhaust, with a nice big dump pipe - $800 bleed valve set to 1.0bar - $50 FMIC, these can be had really cheap now! - $1000 Bigger fuel pump - $300 Lightweight flywheel and decent clutch - $1000 Maybe a SAFC or re-chip stock ecu - should make around 160-170rwkw - $400 total of $3550 or RB25 turbo and make around 180rwkw add a extra $800 by the time its fitted This should make for a fast car in a straight line Add a set of decent shocks and springs, and it will handle better too, add another $1000 Will be very fun to drive with all of the above Chris
  25. dave - will take a knapsack, pm me or email me - chris@(nospam)colorondemand.com.au, remove the (nospam( bit and I'll deposit the money Regards, Chris
