  1. Never thought I'd do this however need to find funds to buy some bits Bought this as a kit around 13 years ago and built it It's awesome, around 30cm long. But dusty at the moment but cleans up great All doors and bonnet open, I did a pretty good job building this one. Paid 375 for the kit, plus paint etc Dunno what to ask really, I'll start at 500? These kits are hard to come by now. Have original box and can pack securely to freight anywhere
  2. Removed due to upgrade however I have some parts I need to raise some funds for You know how it goes!! Done 120,000, no leaks, no play No actuator as I'm using it, but does have all banjo's, oil lines and water lines 90 degree snout/bend included Looking around there doesn't seem to be many GTT alloy compressor turbos, some suggestion that it may be a series 3 GTT turbo? Can arrange courier/freight through work at good rates 375 Ono
  3. Yeah tell me about it! I've got some surplus parts kicking around that I'll try unload to grab these. Too good to pass up
  4. Exactly what I'm after, however I'm poor until tax time. Will grab them if they are still available then
  5. King springs to suit R32 on Gumtree http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1078171095
  6. What turbo do you think I pulled off my car Anthony?
  7. Interesting! Having known the previous owner and it never being replaced I assumed it was done before he owned it
  8. Never heard of S3 before
  9. 2000-2001 is series 2
  10. Yeah reading up I think if might be a vg30 op6, they had alloy compressor wheels Doesn't matter, it's only a spare now anyway!
  11. It feels like alloy but I don't want to stuff around too much and risk damaging it
  12. Trying to work out if this is a nylon compressor r34 op6 or if it's been replaced at some point Given the pen marking on the back I think this has been put on to replace the stock turbo
  13. There used to be a jap car parts shop called Peaks, back in 99/2000. The guy who owned it either had something to do with that shop or mates with them It had s big gt wing on it then also, but no lpg system. I used to see it in town quite a bit, think the guy who owned it was a uni student The car was also at Autosalon in 2000 and 2001 from memory I remember it being for sale in 2003/4 also There's more info on here somewhere but finding it is pretty hard being so old! Good to see its still going, would have been one of the first 32 gtst in Adelaide
  14. This was one of the previous owners http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/382577-fs-1990-hr32-skyline-gts-t-in-adelaide/
  15. Somewhere I do, I bought my 32 in 2001 and this was one of the cars I used to check out at all the shows. They are actual photos from film!! I'm not sure where it is, but I have old camcorder footage of it blowing flames at a show at an oval opposite the brickworks I think the owner was on here at some point too
  16. I remember this car from around 15 years ago! It had the old green and gold plates that said BEAR32 I think. I first saw this car at small car Sunday in 2000, good to see its being put into good use
  17. Just did a quick search and mine spins the opposite wheel in the opposite direction when jacked up, I remember doing that when I changed the diff oil
  18. Mine is a S2, pretty sure it has a helical diff in it. Built March 2001, factory manual etc Is there any way of easily checking? The back end sure feels better than the old viscous LSD in my 32, and hooks up as well as the 1.5 way mechanical diff I put in the 32 without the clunking around low speed corners. You can feel the front end want to push straight if you are taking pretty constant corner and start to feed on the power, much like it did when I swapped the diff in the 32
  19. Hi, il be after a set of intima ss pads to suit R34 Gtt rear soon, are they available and what is the cost? Cheers
  20. Yeah, they have released a upgrade pack a while back - http://www.nistune.com/news.php Launch control also included. Saying that its a basic lower rev limit when your clutch is engaged, not traction control managed. Available for 32R mate
  21. Yeah, it's such a cool feature. Weighing up the options I'm not sure if the cost will be worth the gain in the short term, with this turbo anyway. Still thinking about it really, the furthest I've ever had to drive the car is to the Yorke Peninusla and back, so I could most likely get away with running a straight E85 tune. Taking extra fuel is out of the question, as any long trips will involve carting the kids bikes and associated stuff in the boot! I've already mastered loading the boot to the hilt, and I'd probably need a flexible fuel bladder to make that a viable option
  22. Thanks Ben, both results are with the Nistune, hoping to get the updated flex fuel feature pack down the track
