  1. by the sounds of it the stock ecu idle settings are unable to cope........... Both of your installations sounds like a sucess, but maybe the factory computer was holding it all back?? S/K, what are your thoughts...........

Maybe the reason for selling was that his nose grew so long, he was unable to fit in the far, therefore unbale to drive it??...............................................................................J/K Nice car, what are the TRUE specs of it meshmesh, I am interested to know.   4. You guys had any luck fixing your problem? Mine are on hold until I hear the outcome of how it all works out Good thing is I have a spare motor to play around with, I am thinking of swapping therm into that just as practice, then doing the real thing on my car............ Chris

  7. does seem odd, thats why I thought of the throttle, maybe its not open enough under idle or something? could explain why its running fine when the throttle is open a little? just a thought, as other wise I have no idea mate, sorry You checked base timing yet? what is that set to? I can't really see how a cam that is harder to turn (but is also is just as hard when the stock cam is in place) would be the culprit
  8. not vacum related then I'd say? can you adjust the idle up a little? what about your throttle cable, has that been touched/moved?

  10. Wierd?? sounds like a vacum leak, or something like that. Is your vacum lines hooked up to your BOV? Might pay to get a timing light and check the timing?? Does it blow alot of black smoke out of the exhaust at idle? That is a sure sign of a vacum leak.........

I believe it may also be a time machine, simialr to that of Delorean from Back To The Future.......:bahaha: Best let the owner answer your questions, as its his car, and there are alot of differant specs being posted around the place . I am sure he created the eBay advert, but he also has said it runs 9's, later admitting he said this to add attention to the sale.... either way, nice ride and worth every bit of 100+ grand IMHO Chris

  17. If someone bids $80,001, they will be leading the auction AFAIK, any valid eBay bid is a legal contract, so unless someone outbid it, he is legally bound to sell it for that amount Bargain really
  18. Whats the Microtech like? I am saving for one of these at the moment, and will be running a similar setup, but with GTR cams, exhaust manifold and GTR injectors I am going to get the LT-12S though, but interested to hear what your experiences are Chris P.S - from every big injector/programmable computer setup I have ever seen with Idle/low speed problems, it always comes back to the tuner. Was it tuned via hand controller or via Laptop? Freebaggin has a LT-12 in his R33, running 280rwkw, and has just recently had a retune utilising the Matrix mode tune, and from all reports it drives really well now, maybe PM him

  22. Rb26 injectors are the same, wether its R32/33/34 Will fit in a RB20 no probs, but resistance is differant. Will not fit RB25 without mods, but unsure of what you need to do Chris
  23. yeah, dyno power is one thing, real road/track power is another thing all to its own So whats everyones general opinion of what power a RB20/RB25/RB26 can make and still remain reliable - that said, providing everything is done perfectly???
  24. I bought 3 packets of three, and used all but one of them, so I guess they where the smaller ones. 8 scourers to fill it, 4 both sides.
