  1. Last night I went to the trouble of making a divider to fit down the center of my Greddy catch can. It is a bit of a bitch due to all of the angles on the inside, but its done now I want to seperate the 'in' air from the 'out' air, and make the air travel longer and through more steel wool to scrub it of any nasties before pumping it into the engine Anyone who has one of these I can email you a template so you can make your own Its reasonably easy, from concept to finish took me about a hour or so I used some 3mm thick aluminium I had lying about the shed I will post some pics up when I have finished it Should at least make it work now, rather than just a hollow box doing bugger all Chris
  2. if its the same deal as R32's it should fit From memory R33GTS cat back stuff fits GTR and vice versa Should be ok
  3. nice car, good luck with the sale
  4. Very intersted, I got your pics Dylan, cheers How much if we organised a group buy? I am 99% I will get one, but if we can strike a deal with everyone else here that would be cool. Not whinging that $550 is expensive - it is very very well priced, but thought it may be easier for you if you got a few orders rather than a few here and there Chris
  5. can you email me a pic - r_32skylineboy@hotmail.com Cheers Also, who did the worK?
  6. I think the dense thin type would do the job the best. I was thinking of making up a divider plate to run down the middle of the chamber, and drilling some large holes in that, and running a pack on each side. That way one side would take most of the oil out of the air, and the other can clean it up a bit more. Being oil vapour, some is always going to get through, but if I can take the majority out of it, then that would be good Then when it comes to clean, 4 screws out, pull the steel wool/stocking out and replace with a new one - easy At least in theory it should work...........
  7. One good thing about the Greddy one, it has four allen key screws which allows you to take the bottom of and add some bits inside to make it work properly
  8. I have a Greddy one - as everyone has stated, they are hollow So if I put some steel wool in a stocking, and put it in the hollow section, this will work ok I have had mine running with the stock PCV setup, as the Greddy can did bugger all, so I guess if I hook it up again, with the steel wool/stocking setup, it should work better than nothing shouldn't it Chris
  9. Your on! Will be a good battle
  10. Found this one on the net, may have a few at home, will check tonight
  11. Got mine in the post today Hopefully will get them in soonish Chris
  12. More than likely had a few mods, I mean a GTR that is 15 years old is bound to have encountered some fiddling here and there The fact that it is still going strong means that whatever it had done to it, was performed properly and has done no real damage, and must have had a owner that looked after it
  13. Spotted your car today, parked opposite to where I work on Flinders st Very nice, looks very tough!! One day I will own a GTR......... Chris
  14. Hopefully it will do some good What a prick of a situation, hope it all works out Chris
  15. Do you have the ballast resistor thing for the injectors Also do you have rear diff, drivesahfts and hubs?
  16. FAT32 - what was the outcome of this? Did you give it a try?

  19. Cheers Matt, will go and have a chat to them Freebaggin, I contacted the paint guys at Bunnings, they told me some dude with a balck R33 with some type of hybrid truck turbo bought all there paint - so that option is a no go :bahaha:
  20. Just pumped up the tyres on my 4WD Kubota Tractor - time to unleash the mighty 27hp!!!!! Failing that my old and not so flash 32 will do just fine
  21. Good to hear you got them Steve Make sure they are nice and warm before you give them a bit, otherwise they might carve up a little bit if the rubber isn't up to temp Would be similar to the rears you have - when you hear the rocks/sticks/loose road flicking up all over your car, they are up to tmep Enjoy them, I have contacted Bridgetsone to see if they will offer any sort of replacemet and or huge discount as they sold me the really soft ones - will wait and see what comes of it Chris
  22. I need to get my bonnet re-sprayed, just put a GTR bonnet and grill on Anyone recommend anywhere? I have no idea when it comes to paint places, any suggestions would be great Chris
  23. ok, might have changed it in the quest for more power
  24. Cool!! Mums single cam 1.6lt Civic will be sure to give some of the top end cars a good run for there money I am sure the Pug will do the same My 4WD tractor launches quite well too! Nothing against GTR owners, but by organzing or taking part in this type of cruise that only includes cars worth a certain amount of money shows quite clearly that cars are no more than a fashion accessory to you, something to be seen in and have a bit of a brag about Just my 2cents Chris
  25. or perhaps my Dads Landcruiser? or even better, my big orange tractor, its 4WD too!!!!!!! Mel, if you bring the Pug, i will bring the Civic
