  1. Thanks for that, currently, I have solid caster rods (rose jointed) at the front, whiteline camber adjustemnt fitted on the front upper arms, front and rear strut braces. Next time the cars is on the hoist I will check the condition of the stock rubber bushes, I have a feeling they are pretty well buggered, so might have to replace the lot Is this a big job to do?
  2. In reagrds to HPI times etc? As far as I understand you can use any type of unleaded fuel with octane booster, just not fuels such as methanol or alcohol etc?? Might be wrong though, not 100% sure
  3. Quick question, I am looking into improving the rear end grip in my R32. Currently it has Quantum coilovers and Hicas lock kit, and I'm looking at replacing the rear subframe/cradle bushes. At the moment it feels like the whole subframe pulls forward on the left hand side, and doesn't feel good at all. It has gradually got worse, to the point now where I want to fix it!! Anyone else had this problem? Will cradle/subframe 'pineapples' fix this? What other rear end mods have people done to improve traction, as I want to get the rear end really setup well to make the most of the power I have cheers, Chris
  4. Cool, good to hear, as I know he was very keen to get it going for the Nats Looks like its going to be a hot one, might have to switch from the Elf LMS to methanol Matt, it will run nice and cool then Have you had it re-tuned with the fancy fuel yet?

    help??

what type of boost controller you got Matt? I put mine in (Greddy Profec A) and it wasn't hard at all, let me know and I might be able to help out Would be easy enough to put in the boost gauge at the same time as well Good to hear you are back on the road

  7. OK cool Whatisname - any word about Ben's Supra? Has Shaun got that together yet?
  8. Still don't know of anyone actually racing? Is anyone apart from Nightcrawler and whatisname going to race? Would be good to see a heap of Skylines out there What about Murno and Wilson, or any other GTR's??
  9. Really?? It either rains or is stinking hot for it I guess
  10. I'm sure there is more than a few of us wondering, due to the clash of dates with Drag Comabt in Sydney, I was wondering if anyone knows of any interstate cars coming over, Skylines in particular, and what local cars will be running? Will there be another Munro v Wilson GTR battle again, as that was a huge highlight of last year???? thanks, Chris
  11. As title says I only got the dvd the other day, but don't want it anymore Will post Aus. wide, shipping cost included in price Cost me $40, so If I could get $30 I'd be happy
  12. ok no probs, might even try Nissan locally to see if they can help? Has anyone ever had anything like this repaired before, if so I'd like to hear from them Chris
  13. Where abouts did you get this price from? I only paid $650 for BOTH seats, jus that the driver side seat has a small cigarette burn
  14. Will be good to see some quick 32's around as well, give the R33 boys some competition Hopefully power up plan stage 2 will commence shortly for mine, although 230rwkw will do me nicely for a RB20 reckon its great work to finally see alot of projects coming to completion, although as with all car stuff, I'm sure they are all a work in progress, good stuff
  15. Clint32 has one (flywheel), PM him
  16. Some big numbers being made by the SAU SA R33 contingent, great stuff!! We should try to get in on a private test day at AIR again, so everyone can have a few runs and get some quick timeslips to go with the dyno charts and do it without the pressure of a open street meet The last one was great, and I can't wait until we get a day like that agian
  17. I know this is a bit of a longshot, but does anyone out there have available a R33 GTR drivers side seat trim I only need the fabric cover for the top half, not the seat, as I have just purchased a set of R33 seats, and the drivers side has a small tear - I have fixd it, but would like to some day have two perfect seats I know this is a bit of a long shot, but if anyone has or knows of a drivers seat that has been broken or whatever and the trim is still in great condition, I will be very interested also after passenger side sliding rail if anyone has one of these as well Thanks , Chris
  18. yeah, RE55S will be available in hard soon. I was sold the soft 'wet' compound tyres! so hence the short lifetime of them Nice dyno result Matt
  19. cool, or see if you can get some Nitto's from somewhere? 540S are still great, as Greg showed, just need a good 2nd gear Burnout to get some heat into them - don't wear them out too much, as you know they have been replaced with the RE55S, which are stickier than 540S, so would be better for drags I reckon - just didn't last long enough for me to find out!
  20. Good stuff Matt, will be good to see the car make its drag debut on the new motor at the Nats, will be awesome - you going to run the 540S or slicks?
  21. Good stuff Matt, when are you heading out to the strip? There is a easy 12 for the taking I reckon with that sort of power - see if you can knock of Grepin and Freebaggins time and set something for them to chase!
  22. surely it would help drop under bonnet temps though? I raised mine about 2 years ago, and remove the rubber strip as well so there is a pretty big gap there. Although it was dodgy, I have hung out the window and felt hot air coming out of under the bonnet, so I reckon it works Just my opinion tho
  23. email sent good luck
