  1. Yeah, you could see that in my old avatar. Wasn't me though, i live in around tea tree gully area
  2. Yeah, it has, but I wasn't around Flagstaff yesterday Why's that?
  3. I am, printer by trade:uh-huh:
  4. yeah, good point
  5. Stock R32GTST turbo, 90,000km, never boosted, no dings on the compressor or exhauast wheel, spins very freely, has very small (about 1/2 mm) amount of play in the bearing if you push it front to back. All water fittings and oil return pipe. Have stock dump pipe as well Also have 1 set of stock R32 GTST rims with new cheap tyres on the back and 90% Goodyears on the front. 2 rims have small scraches Also have stock intercooler with no pipe work, in good conditon with 1 small ding in it Need to get rid of some space in the shed, so all reasonable offers considered, PM me if interested
  6. Do they have any splits in them? Mine are split quite badly were the top of the windo contacts them PM me with what price you are asking, I don't think postage would be that much Chris
  7. want two R32 GTST rubber door seals, preferably in undamaged condition.
  8. I have a stock R32 turbo, done 90,000km never boosted above 10psi. Very slight play in the bearing, other wise in excellent condition, with all water feed banjo fittings and oil return pipe. Also have stock cast dump pipe as well PM me if interested
  9. Thats what you call a great escape! Just imagine your car having to go through regency! It might pay to keep your old car to swap parts off if you get defected in your new car Good to hear that for once a cop gave a warning, rather than sticking a defect sticker on it
  10. Yeah, wouldn't mind getting a CD, not often you get footage of your own car blasting down a drag strip Chris - Grey R32 dude!
  11. Yep, it was a top day, big thanks to RPM I had a few good runs, but I really struggled to get it off the line. My best run of the day was 14.03 @ 104.9mph with a 2.5 sec 60ft Don't reckon the hard track style suspension and cheap Falken's helped much, maybe next time I will get some decent rubber and try and knock 1/2 a second of my 60ft times. At least after 8 runs nothing broke Chris
  12. Sounds like a HKS 2510, good stuff Mine made 197.4 last week at 14psi
  13. Those pics are cool. I'll be keen to come down for a look for sure, let me know next time you are going down and i'll see if I'm busy or not. This weekend is out, with the drag day sat and going to the trucks at mallala on sunday BTW - thats not me on that wave hey, just a dude with exactly the same name - freaky!
  14. Good stuff Matt - thats one heavy wave reminds me of Shark Island a bit - make sure you have a REALLY strong leash, and hold that breath
  15. Another thing, can someone post a link to the Lamborgini thing - Just like the other one, it might be as old as me, but I haven't seen it it! aaawww thanks dan_the_man, you don't know how much I like sarcastic stuff like that!!! May as well say this as well - any other old worn out, over-rated, boring no-good shit that no-one thinks I have seen please post a link for me so I can keep myself up to date.
  16. Well perhaps next time I get/see something that I think might be of general interest I'll keep it to myself, and leave all of you other whinging bastards alone :goddam:
  17. Nah, doesn't drop off at the top end. I just want to see if it will get ti th 1bar quicker than it does currently I'd like to get a EBC anyway, so I don't have to fiddle around under the bonnet if I want to run less boost. Wil be good to see what differance it makes on my car
  18. Is it?? Only just got it
  19. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=776885 Check it out!! The things people do to go quicker down the 1/4 mile!
  20. Yeah, not to sure Joel. I just put it down to being 2L v 2.5L with variable inlet timing. If I compare the dyno chart from when it had the stock turbo on, the mid-range is virtually identical. Going to use a electronic boost controller instead of the bleed valve to try and fill the mid-range in a bit. Perhaps Martin could comment on this, as he tuned it and would have a greater understanding of this then I would?
  21. Joel, HKS 2510 turbo @ 1 bar, FMIC, 3" exhaust, Bosch pump and re-mapped computer Check out this dyno chart. This is from the weekend, a good comparison between Grepin and Freebaggins RB25 and my RB20. Just shows how much 1/2 litre makes a differance in the midrange note - I have blurred out our rego numbers just in case there are theiving bastards browsing the forums for quick cars, but have marked which one is what
  22. 197.4kw for me. A good day, but it would have been nice to see a few more Skylines Chris
  23. HKS stuff has the model stamped on the garrett tag, so might be some type of high-flow??
  24. Very true, and its whats inside that will determine that
  25. Yeah, I reckon they are good. Had FK451s on the rear before these, they have much better grip for cornering, but the tune2's have better straight line grip. I'd give themn about a 7.5/10 for performance and a 9/10 for value
