  1. Flattening it when its cold hmmmmmm..........Not good!! I think it uses a differant map when cold, which is richer to help get it up to temp quicker. A bit like a choke I think - but correct me if I am wrong. It could be because its running heaps rich, it bogs down a bit then takes of ? Best bet would be to keep it quiet until its up to temp I reckon
  2. Looks the same as mine, but its whats inside that counts
  3. Get a few of the front and inside so you can count the number of blades etc. Mine is making 198rwkw at 1bar with a FMIC and tune Lets hope you have a 2510, they are awesome Also, there should be a stamped garret tag near the oil feed, that tells you exactly what it is (unless its a highflow job)
  4. Cheers dude, I'll give them a buzz
  5. Yeah, seen that. Don't know if its worth $200 unpianted
  6. My 2510 has M27 and .60 cast onm the front, it also has a machined front with 4 allen key nuts on the front. I don't think yours is stock, as it doesn't have the factory 90 cast section from the compressor cover on it. More pics would help
  7. Get me a pic of the front of the compressor cover. Looks similar to mine - HKS2510
  8. As stated above, after one of those tiny rear lip spoilers that GTRs have to put on my 32 GTST Same as attached pic Cheers
  9. By the way he was driving it on Saturday, he'd be a good chance to beat him. Looked pretty stock as well, could only spot the Power FC, upgraded suspension, huge brakes and good rubber. Still had stock airbox and a stock looking exhaust. Hauled ass though - would be good to see a GTR will the Targa!
  10. There was a R33 GTR N1 there on Sat, the same one that was in HPI a few months back. Steve Glenney? I think. 33 odd seconds in practice, hosed all of the other 4WDs, good stuff
  11. I have one for thr Profec A PM me your email adress, its to big to post it here
  12. Try this one
  13. Just a thought - has anyone organized a tow truck or recovery vehicle? might come in handy at some stage, especially with 50 odd cars. I reckon it would be hard work pushing a car back from right down the end:D
  14. Count me in, its about time I gave it a run
  15. Yeah, does sound about right, if thats how its tuned.
  16. Nah, its not for sale. You should be able to pick one up for around $1500, but they are hard to find. Maybe even look at a HKS 2530,2540,2535. These are a bit bigger and make more power but have more lag tlai909 - I don't doubt that high flows can make power, but the ones I have seen have hardly made 20rwkw more at higher boost. For what people I know have paid for these they haven't got a good gain for the money spent. I have seen a couple of rb25 high flows that have made good power though, but its hard to compare them with a rb20 high flow
  17. Starts to boost at 2100, full boost at 3800 -4000, keeps going until rev limiter of 8000rpm HKS stuff is awesome for higher boost as well. I can't think of another turbo that will make 230rwkw and still drive like a stocker down low
  18. Bolt on to standard manifold. Just need to modify the intercooler pipe a little
  19. Mr Rb20 I'd stay away from high flows of the stock turbo, unless you only want another 15-20rwkw. A series one R33 turbo will give you a bit of a increase, but you can only run 14psi due to the turbine wheel being ceramic. After a lot of thinking i ended up getting a HKS 2510 turbo second hand. My goal was to have 200rwkw, with as little boost as possible, and still have almost stock drivability, and the 2510 fits the bill pretty well. With my current setup - stock engine, tube and fin front mount cooler, Bosch motorsport pump and re-mapped stock computer, it made 198rwkw with 1bar boost on a warm summers day. The best part is that it drives very close to stock, just has a heap more top end. The best part is that the turbo is still running lowish boost (for a HKS turbo) and has the ability to run 1.5 bar and make around 220-230rwkw with a revised fuel system. Bolt on HKS turbos are awesome in my opinion, I'd recommend one if you want to upgrade Chris
  20. Freebagin's right, we have put over 10,000kms on the bitch while you were away. No need to drain it mate, as there is nothing left to drain - we have been running it dry for the past week!!!!!! It sounds a bit rough until you get it up to 10,000rpm, then she's fine!!!!!:bahaha: Freebagin - how is it stateside? 500 was cool!
  21. I would if they made them that big! joking of course! I remember a hot 4's mag once were the whole front of the car was basically a intercooler - no bumper or anything!
  22. I would think though that with the reduction of the restriction on the intercooler side would increase the amount of gas ging into and out of the motor, shortening the time to reach 'x' RPM? this is getting interesting
