what when its idling? I reckon the idling note is somewhere between a2 and d3. (make sense? if not check out a piano) The sound is what it is because of the RB engine. Like the sooby wrx sound. distinct.

definatly dump pipe. Don't know about r34 intercooler though. Why not FMIC. There are some bargains flying around if you look. (4sale boards, group buys etc...) turbosmart make the cheapest boost controllers i think, though as I hear they are not always to be trusted. maybe GFBits do the same thing. Also have heard of mechanics being able to adjust the boost for a couple of hundred bucks blocking off things etc.... 170kw? maybe. if you boost up to 12psi. but only 10. don't know. so after all this, dump pipe a definate. dbl or single I don't think matters. I've got a dbl but others say it makes no difference. hope this is a start. Cheers

I spend alot of money keeping my car in good condition and it sucks to have to sit behind smoky cars, buckled wheels, cars with only one brake light, one headlight, no indicators, faded illegible no. plates. etc... get a cheap car. it will be cheaper on fuel, insurance, and repairs when you crash. This sounds terrible but i had four accidents before I was twenty. one was stupidity and the rest just lack of care and attention. It all chalks up to experience. and you can't buy that.

Has anybody got experience or know about american stats? People as young as 15 and a half can get their licence in some states. There's also curfews in some countys etc... And we know that there are some muscle cars there. I know its big bad america but there could be some parallels drawn surely.

hicas only works above a certain speed i think 80 kms. and it only moves very fractionally like up to 5 degrees or something. did you get a wheel allignment/balance at the same time?

heya, Had a very good day today. We couldn't have picked better weather for a cruise. Favorite part of the day was following a line of skylines of different colors and shapes gliding through the hills. There was one pic I wish I got, of everyone going along the top of a ridge with the sky and view as a backdrop. Like totally out of one of those best motoring or something clips/videos. Seems like a good effort with the fundraising as well. Very good idea people. thanks again, a pleasure to be involved.

How much fun was that?!!! Got some great video of jaqule having lots of fun on the last corner. Some loud gtrs running around, nice wrxs and of course the merc. Every night i go to bed crossing my fingers that i'll wake up and A) Robin hood has visited my garage and done all the mods for me. B) I will find out im a long lost heir of a horrendously wealthy king. C) Paris Hilton has stayed the night :drooling: D) I'll have a sudden urge to buy a daewoo and I'll be over this "fast car" stage what I hate most of all is you save the money for a particular mod and just as you're about to do it, something needs replacing. EG Struts or Clutch. OR you do the mod, and it highlights a problem you didn't know you had. EG Coil packs on high Boost. ARRGh Thank god somebody started this thread. i feel better now.

How funny is this? Got quotes today for fixing rear bar cause somebody couldn't park properly, and tonight, girlfriends hand brake failed and rolled into the front of my car, cracking the front bar. Arrrrgh.. you gotta see the funny side though.
