  1. no i don't. But I just get the sunday ticket. I'm not too interested in the sat, and I definetly can't do thursday and friday. But thanks for the offer. good luck with the sale. So I take it no one is up for this? I'm sure I can still find accom. for it. I just need the people.
  2. boost gauge is still up for sale. Any advance on 25.....
  3. Hey, I was just wondering if anyone was interested in joining me at indy this year. I really want to go but can't afford to find a 2 or 3 bed place by myself. I have the slackest mates and its so hard to get them to commit to anything. What I was proposing was 3 nights Friday to Monday, somewhere near the track, I doubt anything on the track will be still available. Last year I was able to find somewhere 50 metres from the track for $650 or something like that. between 3 thats affordable I reckon. And i booked that in september. Being the beginning of august we might have a better chance. I'm just after some sunshine, some fumes and some beer. Anyone keen?
  4. okay, I crashed within 10 minutes of having my p's. I was on the way home with my mum from the driving test. Came to an intersection with lights and was in the left lane waiting to turn right. In the right lane was a telstra van so I couldn't see what was coming from the right. Its raining, 3pm, my light goes green I pull out in my par's xf station wagon and bang, a hilux with a bullbar munches me in front of my front wheel well. The girl driving, who I went to school with, hops out the car and says " my boyfriends gonna kill me" so yeah, my car written off. But it gets better....... She told her insurance company and her boyfriend probably that I had run the red light. (i was trying to turn across a six lane road, yeah right) And I couldn't prove that it was her that ran the light cause I had no witnesses. So a couple of flyers were posted up at the local telstra depot. Nothing, and then again a month later, more flyers. We had had to pay our insurance excess because we could not prove she ran the light. A phonecall from a telstra guy came one day saying, yeah I saw that accident, she ran the red light for sure. He gave us a statement and our insurance was promptly paid for by her insurance. What I would have given to see her face when she confessed to her family and boyfriend she a liar..
  5. whats gonna be on the decks for a night like this? are we gonna have kylie and jason mixen with indecent obsession? seriously? do we need some music guidance? (sp) cause I think I can help with some serious 80's music.
  6. So anyone know where we can get some glow sticks and whistles? Maybe if we all pitch in, we can buy in bulk and save!! :jk: yeah i'll be in to this, for sure!!
  7. oops yeah thats right, and auto for that matter.
  8. If I had 35-40 for a car and had NEVER owned a skyline Then the GTR would be it. But owning a gtst like you do now, I'd go for something different in the next car, apart from power etc. the targa top supra would be it i reckon. very nice and I don't see that many of them around.
  9. all this talk of warehouses reminded me of this quote, along with the 80's where this quote comes from. ( i think 84) "Computer games don´t affect kids. if pac-man affected us, we would all be running around in dark warehouses, munching on magic pills, dancing to repetitive electronic music."
  10. postage and handling about six bucks. make it 40 you pay postage and its yours.
  11. try allstar tuning at zillmere. They quoted me 88 buck plus parts etc I think. Richard is the owner I think. really nice guy and they always seem to have some sort of line in there whenever I go. number is 32657185

  14. hey all, just wondering if someone can remember what date the huge skyline cruise 2 was on/ the On where 70 something lines turned up and went to the broady on a sat night. I just need to date so I can work something out. Please feel free to delete this thread once this is answered mods. Cheers, Mark
  15. will definatly buy adj camber rods (front) pleeeeese. And possibly luminous dials. Cheers
  16. cool. Sounds good. am in .
  17. pm me details please.
  18. yes. A nice sunday drive would be nice.
  19. Both tracks and both ways. Whoever was on just got to choose. Yeah I'd like to get some pics too. Will see what turns up.
  20. Well I went........... and had a phcukin ball. Great fun. No troubles whatsoever. The 18's were fine. A little bit of rubber taken off but nothing to worry about. Certainly not bald or anything. Was a helluva day out and would do it again definetly. Ill see if i can get some pics up.
  21. so nobody's got some old stock 33 rims I could use/borrow/hire. Ill get rubber.
  22. Wow, you guys are sowing hella seeds of doubt in my mind about this. The guy said it wouldn't be too bad on the car, bar the 18"s etc. I realise that a skyline is not a wrx but thats what he's taking out. I think there is another liner that said yes on the day. Is that person on here? The liner in the pic I thought.
  23. cool sequence shots on the skidpan. approach..........sideways.........out of control
  24. Drunken idiot. Too many lagers infront of the origin. RWC. Yeah you probably have to have one. But I'm not sure who will check or scrutineer cause the guy has hired it out for private use.
  25. I don't think there's any restrictions on that at all. Rear wheel or front wheel. It sounds like hella fun. I don't think it will damage the liner much. Sounds pretty safe.
