  1. I used the Stagea pump, bracket (I slotted the rear-most mount bolt to make it easier to install with the twin turbos), and crank pulley. Seemed like the easiest solution and has worked for just at a year now without problems.
  2. Yeah the rears will fit but you'll have to cut the lip of the backing plate for the rotors to fit. Chuckie - those are R32 GT-R calipers.
  3. Yeah I know but it was many months ago and I dont remeber the tap size I had to use but I remembered the bolt head.
  4. Okay I'm reading through all the brake info and no one else has run into there Stagea having bigger diameter caliper mounting bolts than the Skylines use? Mine have 22mm heads and I had to drill and re-tap my 32 GTS-T calipers to fit them. I picked up a set of knuckles off another car today to use with my Brembo upgrade but I was curious, because I haven't seen this problem mentioned yet. I'll post pics of them next to each other when I do the swap.
  5. http://page14.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s144168432 http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j47205961 Don't see these for sale too often.
  6. Damn. Too bad you can't get Star Specs. (Jap tires but I bought mine from the states, was cheaper by a lot even with shipping) I'd go the RE001s with what you have available.
  7. Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs. I can't get enough of them, especially for the price. You won't be dissapointed. Okinawa has some of the worst road surfaces for wet traction I've ever driven on. It's like ice here when it rains. These tires stick as well in the rain as my old tires did in the wet. Plus they sell them in 245/40-18. That's what I run and here's what they look like. Edit - I run semi-slick Advans on my other car and these tires approach the same grip level but kill those tires in the rain and will definitely last longer.
  8. Thanks for all the comments. 30mm spacer on the front and the rears were flared when I bought it but I had them reshaped a bit because they looked pretty bad. Color looks a little darker in the flesh. It's R35 gunmetal with a little silver added to it. Close enough I didn't need to do the door sills and still look ok. Wheels are just resprayed the original Nur spec color. Here's the only good pic I have of the hinges. You can also see the difference in color.
  9. If you go with another type you may have to modify the exhaust cutout in the bumper. I just fit a 260RS bumper to mine with an exhaust made for an RS-4 and the autech's hole is not only a lot bigger, but not centered in the same spot to give room for the stock exhaust. It's not the best angle to show what I'm describing but you get the idea... muffler tip is at the outer edge of the cutout.
  10. Here everyone just cuts the diff off and plugs the holes for the shaft (I've seen both welded and just a freeze plug. Makes for a stronger block, seals better, and IIRC holds a little more oil. I believe both sets of holes are on the blocks, however so you could use the 33 sump.
  11. Says it's time to change your engine oil. Interval would be determined by the last time it was reset.
  12. My car's current state. More on my flickr.
  13. Open center from factory but I'm fitting a Stock S2 LSD this week.
  14. Doh! missed that.
  15. Excuse the thread jacking but I noticed you have an S2 gauge cluster installed. Does it plug in without any issues?
  16. Was there no manual M35 Stagea? I saw one on Yahoo Auctions a while back and it looked factory. I just assumed it was. Maybe it was RWD.
  17. Looks like they were modified with parts from Cima headlights.
  18. I had to search for this pic, I'll try and snap a shot next oil change... should be soon as I'm almost finished with break-in and will swap to synthetic once that's complete.
  19. I put mine right in front of the front diff, next to the oil drain. Makes oil changes a breeze and doesn't clutter up the engine bay. I just made up a bracket to attach to the drivers side engine mount. Mine is also a Greddy, but it came with the Greddy oil cooler. You can barely see the bottom of the filter in this pic. It's white.
  20. All the R33 stuff fits. I have front and rear camber arms and I also have to buy rear toe arms because we couldn't get it aligned properly with the factory adjustment. My tire chewing was mostly happening in front and it's fixed now.
  21. I would assume the M/T column would apply to the 260RS and RS4-S.
  22. Updated pics of my stagea. New motor, different wheels and brakes than earlier pics.
