Reason for selling the Coilovers? -
I think i may have answered my own question, but just to confirm. my rear shocks have the fork end, not the eye. which is the same as a GTT, right?
-
I was wondering if anyone knows (100% certain) if the suspension in a R34 GT-V is the same as in the R34 GTT
-
Generlly speaking, there will be little difference between performance between the different brands or custom made, DKNE extractors are designed around the R34 with the aircon pipes taken into consideration, but other than that they will all be suitable. If you can find a pair of second hand ones at the wreckers or through sau/ebay and they are still in good condition, they arent bent out of shape and are not rusted. then go for it. I think you might be hard pressed finding any at a wreckers though.
-
Extractors do make a little difference, they wont increase your max power, but they will give you more usable power in the lower end I got my NA dynoed stock and then right after I got a set of DKNE extractors put on and you can see a little bit of a difference. Plus they sound great.

Get your self some QFM brake pads. dont know the part numbers, but shoot an email to [email protected] and tell them what you have and they will had a pad to suit. IMO much better than anything bendix put out, less brake dust and much better pedal feel.

Ive lost my torque lock up at speeds over 80km. will engage at lower speeds. but once i get above 80 it doesnt engage. My de-acceleration seems to be a bit heavier as well. like theres more drag on the engine.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Apexi-Replacement-P...id=p3286.c0.m14 where else but ebay. A little more than the blitz tho. Nah, no tune required. the stock ecu can handle a few mild mods befroe needing to go a copgy back.
-
You can do a CAI using the stock air box. isnt really worth it tho. No idea about the filter from justjap, But I can definetly recommend getting an apexi panel filter. One of the best on the market in the amount of air that goes through and the filtering performance. Was the first mod I done to my NA and I noticed a difference, especially in the top end, more air getting to the engine.

Assuming you are putting larger discs in, than the current spalsh plate wont be big enough. but to save you having to find larger splash plates, you can use tin snips, preferably an angle grinder and put slits along the lipped part all the way around and then bend the tabs back.

Most people will take between 4.5 and 5.0. If your doing it yourself, put in about 4 to start with. start the engine and let it idle for 15 secs or so, then add the rest in. Draining while the oil is warm/hot is also good, any crap in the oil will be floating around. You also want to fill it to the High mark on the dipstick. dont go over tho.

Torsen Diff For R34
Grunta replied to Paul SM's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Reason for selling? was the differance noticable between the r200 and the standard lsd diff? -
It seems to have settled down abit. Except I still dont have torque lock up over 80km. does anyone know what sensors feed into this that tell it to engage?
-
Just because they are off a R34, doesnt mean that are GTT wheels. What you have are GT rims, off a non turbo R34. 16" rims, not sure of the width, wont fit over turbo calipers. You would be best advertising them on other nissan forums, where it would be an upgrade for them. On this forum they are fairly useless wheels. The pic below are GTT rims.

Yeah, done the diff oil as well.

Hey Guys, Had my 100k service done not too long ago, and since then my auto is behaving weird. Replaced oil and filter on the auto. Nissan Matic J oil used. R34 rb25de neo engine with a B code auto box. Since the service, I seem to have lost my over drive in speeds over 80km or so, that little 200rpm the engine drops when your crusing. Also, under hard acceleration the gear changes are very rough, slight pause and then throws it into gear. I also have an ecu consult cable and just have it monitoring, its not showing up any codes, but I have noticed that at speeds less than 100km it shows the same speeds on the display as it does on my speedo. once I start climbing above 100km its a bit off and then by 180km on the speedo its only showing around 160km on the display. Im wondering if I have a faulty speed sensor. Anyone ever had anything similar to this? thanks for any help

Looking for the part number for the water pump on a R34 RB25DE Neo I mainly want to know if its the same pump used in my engine as in a 33 RB25DE(T)
-
I have a R34 RB25DE Neo, Is the water pump used in this engine the same as used in R33's and R32's RB25's? Is there are difference between the Turbo and Non Turbo water pumps?
