Hardly. VQ30 was around 2k and I did most of the work myself, I'd say less than 10k with turbos and tuned. And I'm not talking about a R34 GTT compared to a R32 GTR...that's just idiotic. Not that I would expect any less from people on the forums, I've been on here scince 2003, and it's gone downhill since.

Another amazing comment, I thought you might of understood my context, but obviously not. I could afford a R34 GTR if i wanted to, but i chose to make my R34 GTT UNIQUE. Understand now? I'll go slower if need be.

Or you could buy a gtst/gtt, spend what makes up to a gtr, and have a better car rather than a stock gtr. So now you end up with a heavily modded gtst/gtt, or a stock gtr for the same price...hmm what would i choose? My setup with a VQ i could of brought a stock good condition gtr.. instead i built my gtt, with 30,000 kms, immaculate, perfect and i built it, put blood, sweat and tears into it, and have a much better package than a stock gtr for the same price. I win I think.

With what I've built i could of easily afforded the R34 GTR, still could, but I don't want one.

Because I have a VQ30DETT. Because I built it. Because in my opinion RWD is more fun. I could go on for hours.

The VQ30DET was 149 Kg without turbo's, have yet to weigh it scince, i've also gotten a CF Boot & Bonnet, removed rear seats, and have bucket seats now. Would be interesting to see the difference.

I'm a 19 year old male who has just spent 20k on his R34 GTT to achieve something different, a VQ30DET+T. Own house, own car..no parents supporting me, I did it all myself, started at 16. I love how people generalize.

I just sold my RB25DET Neo with 50,000 Kms out of my R34 GTT for $1400.

Could be a number of issues such as coil packs or spark plugs, replace those and then go from there.

The Xenon's are a different parker design too, looks so much better.

I said only a bolt on turbo. Then i pulled out the engine and put in a VQ30DETT. ...Opps.

You'll find even after spark plugs a few thousand Km's later the problem will return, I suggest upgrading to Splitfire Coil Packs to be honest, when i had the RB25 in my R34 it used to play up and the 6th cylinder wouldn't work due to faulty coil pack, i replaced it and then it was perfect. The check engine and traction control light would come on also when this happened, and usually restarting the car would fix the issue, or if I needed to, I would pop the bonnet, and unplug the coil pack then plug it back in. Next time it happens you can find out which coil pack it is by un-plugging them one at a time and when there is no change in one of them (still runnning rough), there's the faulty coil pack. I'd also be inclined to say your ODO reading is genuine and accurate, most R34's have rather low Km's, mine had 29,000 when I purchased it a year ago. You're R34 is nice and clean btw, good buy. Coil Packs. They need replacing at about 50,000 Kms. Happens to alot of NEO engines.
