  1. I just used a pepsi/can block off bov plate
  2. Hahahaha man thats a bit harsh lol, sun ups kinda hard as I need to drop someone off early morning. If you are able anytime after 9am then lemme know, even if its midnite Sunday ;
  3. Points jump 5 cells in maptracer for 3-5 secs when downshifts under load/incline etc and cause all manner of buggery
  4. Yeh got the pfc commander and nope Yavuz has personally been thru it 2-3 times and says theres not anything he can see wrong in the tune, he said to change piping/ relocate afm/ test n report back.
  5. Thanks mate, dont know if tomorrows good? U in Bankstown right, I can drive down- where exactly- and what do u look like haha. Just so I know its you. I had ur number I think but lost it somehow- 0416424446 is mine ;-
  6. As above- maf utilising wrong cell points on map under certain conditions and causing massive rr and crapiness, even with bov blocked to rule out afm reversion
  7. No one? I just need it for a coupla hours really
  8. Sorry its a r34neo running precision 5558 and ewg, 22psi boost, powerfc, z32, metal intake with stock bov return and crankcase vent welded in etc
  9. Hi SAU, if anyone in Sydney preferrably close to Parramatta would let me borrow their z32afm (to rule out mine which I think is playing up) I would be most grateful. Its got its pins re-soldered btw. Problem-maf cells jumping to and utilising wrong map points for 3-5 seconds under downshifts on load as seen on powerfc maptracer- causes massive rich n retard and power drop. This even happens with blocked off stock bov to rule out afm reverberration. Normal driving in 3rd/4th at 1800-2000rpms is jerky and rough sometimes, idle is rough sometimes. Note that the blocked off bov isnt the problem here as it wasnt running jerky n rough the last few weeks with blocked bov. Dont think its coilpacks as its fine under high load/rpm and always been-coils are stockies less than a 7 months old. So would like to borrow someones z32 or CAS if it could be that? Thanks
  10. Man you can be a real wet blanket sometimes aye, like a few others on here, and I'm sure I'm not talking to an adolescent. My motive is to maybe try something different (if its worth it and appeals to me) - Evo because same price range and great performance, same same RZ Supra. I don't discriminate when it comes to cars but will always have a sweet spot for skylines, and the R34GT-R is my fave out of all cars, it doesnt offer any bang for buck unfortunately. And I also say this with love. haha
  11. Lancer Evolutions should be called Rice-car Evolution.
  12. One thing I like about the EVO is how small and easy the engine bay is to work on - injectors, turbo, piping all looks easier to do than a large RB25 with its cross-over pipe and general engine layout etc.. But it does look like a pumped-up lancer in n out, its huge wing and nasty engine note screams I'm rice! haha..
  13. What cars the 1J on- Cressida/Soarer? Boat etc
  14. Check eGay u might find something
  15. After I bought my Bilsteins I had Gary cut height adjustable grooves in them, test dampers, chuck in new bumpstops and boots- didnt cost much
  16. Kasko I was lucky, checked ebay and a set came up at one of the skyline wreckers-think I got away with $450- a steal.. Just test the dampers by removing tops, compressing by hand and checking rebound. And f$&k those coilovers off..
  17. Mick, yes the supra will, but then the thrill being its a different car and right up there at the performance forefront, not to mention the easy power u can get outa them and the GT feel, cockpit etc, a monster that actually looks nice /sporty
  18. Shall we put a 350rwkw tt supra in the mix? Yes another powerful rwd albeit a much better one that is at the gtr's level and evo's price..
  19. ^^ Never have coilovers on a 300kw rwd. I ditched my Cusco coilovers for Bilstein shocks/springs and its like night n day..couldn't be happier
  20. Thats because you live out in the sticks with nice roads all to yourself and not a car or person in sight lol- syd metro area as we all know is a different ball game altogether-thats where the evo is better, and yes my car would be laggier than your 33- remember no E85 m8..but not by too much, its definitely a fair bit torquey punting around in low rpms than the evo.. I redlined that evo 1st to third and gave it a bit in 4th, there wasnt too much hard cornering cos of the area n traffic, but the point n shoot was tested well enough, I was disappointed cos it felt a fair bit more composed n mild than I expected-I like brutal acceleration, but yeh cant expect this from an almost stock evo even with awd and short gearing. And more refined? Nah! The 34 is much better, and this can be subjective- the evo felt just like a nice new lancer/ corolla interior wise, the momo wheel n recaros are nice though. But the exhaust note is terrible-sure everyone would agree- then again its a different car compared to a skyline and I would still get one as my next car when the times right. Or even a rz Supra
  21. But much better for short fast squirts in sydney metro area streets- pickup is more instant and boosts quicker 3000ish rpms, point n shoot n corner...sort of thing no worries. With the 290kw skyline have to wait a bit longer for the hit and when it hits- you run out of road, jump lanes, go too fast waay over the limit or wrap urself around a tree- need a nice long empty stretch of private road to open er up, definitely not a busy metro area...
  22. Test drove an evo 8mr with 3"turbo back zorst, intake, filter n 18psi-stock turbo- felt meh.. Good pickup/ boost (roughly felt as powerful as r34 at 160-180 rwkw) and hard cornering- nothing as hard edged as some people make it out to be.. Noticeably Less torque at low rpms street driving than a 25neo, nice interior though not cheap n nasty.. Gearbox not too short throw as expected, its alright actually. And meh- not as exciting as I'd hoped.. Nowhere as crazy (when boost hits) as a 290kw rwd- not even close
  23. Lol that was a total RAPE.
  24. I prefer huge breasts no two ways about that.
