  1. Yes man absolutely, no reply to my email, then next day I get a tracking no. on ebay, then couple of days later its at my desk in the morning before I am! lol
  2. Got my Kando oil feed at my desk after ordering on Fri- absolutely brilliant service even though he didn't respond to my query. Thats what I ordered and looks like what it is in the pic: http://www.ebay.com....984.m1497.l2649 But the plastic bag has TOYOTA 1JZGTE on it haha, is it the same part/fitting for the 1JZ/RB25..? Lol. It also has the code 2000-930-821 written on plastic bag sticker/tag.
  3. Lol I just got that impatient itch in my ass cant wait to slap the PTE on..
  4. Ordered Kando oil feed line kit on Fri, ebay still doesnt show as 'shipped' with a tracking no. etc, even though Mr Kando promised to ship it that afternoon, emailed him this morning, see if he replies by tomorrow haha...
  5. So I guess the BS is that the stock mani cannot hold much more than 300rwkw..
  6. For all yous who say the stock manifold will not support more than 300rwkw, I have been in Mick O's car approx 340rwkw, low mount GTX 3071R 26psi boost.
  7. I used a bunnings holesaw at high speed and with good force for some time all it did was make a shiny circular mark. Then I swapped it for a drill bit and with endless cursing n swearing managed to make holes all round the circumference and punch it out.
  8. ok thanks man, will give powertune the precision dealer a ring soon
  9. Thanks man, ur lucky you got a flange n clamp supplied as the precision ones are different in size to regular vband flanges and dont seal properly according to the exhaust guy and on the web, can anyone else with this 5558 or other 0.63 vband turbo please tell me where they got their dump flange n clamp from?? And any pics of how the gates welded to the turbine? Thinking if i should point the gate sideways towards the firewall or up upwards like a hat. Turbo will be Low mount on stock rb25 mani
  10. Hey you guys with precision v-bands, re- the 3" outlet to dump pipe, -the v-band flange welded to the turbo doesnt have a seat for the female flange and the Performance Exhaust at Northmead guy told me I need to get a female flange milled to suit with the clamp and my turbine flange because most of the time the clamps are too wide and the dump has play in the joint . He said it will fit first time but not after if I just get an off the shelf vband flange kit. Is that correct and what you guys doing about that? Where and what size T3 spacers you using, theres some 11mm ones on ebay, mine is a 5558 to go on stock rb25 mani- low mount. Last question- oil feed and return, any suggestions on fitting sizes and line lengths? Or just let the tuner (unigroup/jem etc) sort that out.. And how much u guys paying for fabrication work, and any recommendations? Pm me if you dont wana post on here, thanks
  11. Thanks hanaldo, I will look at the lines a bit, sorry for the spam on the Precision thread but did you end up re-tuning your G3 again/ killawasps?
  12. Finally got the 5558 in today, can I use any 3" v-band flange off ebay (exhaust/dump side), and what oil line/fitting did you guys use - do I just go to Pirtek/Enzed or get an ebay jobbie - re: Kando lines fit? I am not sure if you just connect the oil line to part way in the existing line or get rid of existing and new one straight to block? thanks
  13. HAHAH I dont even know how to launch man, let alone drive..lol, Sir 5558 should go on soon and you earn the title of Ron (damn, which turbo?) now I guess...
  14. Retuned because Jez was good enough to ask me to come over so he can check the tune - re: previously my poor fuel economy, groaning and lack of power at low revs, pausing before taking off - all problems gone now, economy is better (dunno how much yet), even the engine sound is nice and purry and soft unlike before was a groaning louder mofo lacking in sharpness and lowdown-mid range power big time... Measured 182rwkw when I drove in, after a couple hours and 205rwkw, a completely different and very pleasurable car to drive. Its not the power thats the big difference, but the overall feel is way different
  15. Man, this guy's much worse than Ron..lmao! My current 206rwkw re-tuned by Jez last week just feels sooo good in the low-mid end (2500-4000rpms) I dunno how much lag I will get with the Precision haha.. 110rwkw @3000rpms is all smiles man - its so much more responsive to the slightest throttle inputs now
  16. I bought adaptors from sonicperformance in adelaide- for my siemens dekas
  17. My new 5558SP CEA 0.63 T3 V-Band, shipping from LA California today..hurry up already..
  18. Hey Mick how you goin man, nah I really wanted u to give it more stick harder to feel it to the max but was too polite to ask you as you were so kind to take me for such a nice spin. I give my car a pretty hard time when I can lol, living in Sydney doesnt allow me to do much of this anyway ...I mean this is what these cars are meant for.. The PT was ordered a week n a half ago so I will defo be bringin it out to the sticks, but I dont expect it to be as lowdown snappy as yours as it will be on 98 not e85... But she better make at least 300rwkw hehe..
  19. Yeah mate, having been in Micks blindingly fast 335rwkw demon, even my 206rwkw feels wuite smile-inducing fast on the street when u give it, and so bloody responsive now to drive, now I realize now how paper rwkw doesnt mean much, but road feel/drive does..cannot upload dyno sheet from phone but it did make 110rwkw @3000rpms.. Now it feels like a Skyline not yaris.
  20. Just went for a proper hard spin and I confirm that groaning/ hesitation/ power loss is completely gone, pulls clean and hard from 2800-7000rpms- no doughiness whatsoever, feels light as a bird and much faster than before @187rwkw, now @206rwkw, not much diff on paper, big difference on road. Beaut . .. Ah cant wait now to see what the Precision will be like
  21. 23rwkw gain from just a dump (previously stock) and a bit of tuning. Awesome work
  22. Thanks Jez the cars running much smoother n better across the rev range now and feels more crisper and lighter than when I brought it in. The groaning/ hesitation/ lack of power around 2500-3200rpms seems mostly gone now, due to re-adjusting the maps/timing. Lets hope the fuel economy wont be 20L/100kms now- fingers crossed. That bit of hesitation you mentioned doesnt worry me, it would be the bit inconsistent boost control with the manual T controller as you say, its not bad at all,. It was the lack of power/groaning for few seconds under hard throttle that was bad, the touch up tune this morning has killed a lot of it off thankfully. Much nicer to drive now should I say again. Thanks Jez
  23. What is the general power threshold of these tractor sr20s before they go boom? ie RB25, say around 280-300/320rwkw according to SAU sources. Wonder how the tractor engines compare to the EVO 4G63 tractors.. 2L four vs 2L four..
