  1. Although its too late now, I would still go a 5558 over a 5858 if I needed to buy again, as I do want every bit of response I can get in..
  2. Ron - errr Jase, are you getting a kando, precision or 3071? lol.. I was gona change my mind (yes - again... ) after you mentioned the 5858 when I ALMOST bought the 5558, then after some frantic searches I came across a picture of a 5858 beside a 3076R, the 5858 is much bigger physically than a 3076R judging from pics - I said fark this aint fitting on my stock mani without clashes, I will stick to the 5558... LOL
  3. So did I. Cheers Ron
  4. From Real Street's ebay website: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Precision-5558-Journal-Bearing-Billet-CEA-55mm-Turbo-T3-T4-SP-V-Band-63-A-R-/290672655598?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ad70bcee&vxp=mtr scrolling down to the bottom right - the sign in red says, 'due to the huge influx of sales from their billet line of turbos, there is currently a lead time of 2-4 weeks before shipping of any Precision turbo'.. Think this applies to most sellers..long huh!
  5. Who was the seller and how much did you pay/which pt turbo? I wonder if they can deliver this to your office lol..
  6. Yes, I expected it to be at the seller's LA based workshop in 2-3 days from Precision which is US based as well. Then hes goin to give it a once over and ship it to me, that should take not more than 2 wks generally. But he still aint got it yet.. Oops this was in reply to Nismoids post
  7. I gotta say that I dont like 33s but this one's just so right, you shouldnt be selling it esp with a rash decision! It looks good with the wheels, kit and stance and has the power and mods to boot, 13k is cheap!
  8. how long did you guys have to wait before turbos in your hands after ordering? I ordered almost a week ago and apparently Precision are still 'assembling one'...
  9. Cheap Walbro GS3442 does it for me- just do the direct 12V rewire.
  10. Did all you guys have to have your Precision turbos custom built/assembled after order? My ones being done then it goes to the seller, he looks it over then ships it to me. Cant wait..
  11. I was sweating like a pussy when I clicked that button Hanaldo, and Jase, ur welcome for a ride when done mate, but I'm not a errm..extremely safe/cautious driver..ask err Jez. lol.
  12. thanks man, you and a few others helped me a good deal in my choice of handbag...
  13. Guys....just changed my mind again..not buying a precision... . . . . . . . . . Waits for half of SAU to slap him..... .. NAH ! Just put my order through now through paypal. Precision CEA Billet 5558 0.63/T3/V-band plus two silicon joiners $1045 usd delivered to SYD. Wooooott ! ! ! Done! Hurrah.. lol
  14. hahahaaha its Friday lunchtime man, time for a nice feed and beer at the pub, talk later. If I was high-mounting it, then I would have gone the Kando T67-25G without doubt, no shopping like a bitch.. But then again peer pressure is, well ...
  15. No congrats yet dude, I need to get it strapped n running first..
  16. Thanks a lot man, sent him an email requesting a paypal order, job done. Please don't tell me now that the 5858 is slightly better with more power and a better powerband or I might start looking for you hehe ................ woohoo no more shopping girl now...
  17. Sent the details to seller and asked him to ensure its a T3 housing and not T3/T4 as advertised on some ebay adverts from others. This is what he said: "T3 refers to the turbine housing and if you go with an SP cover that is a T4 sized cover so in essence it is a T3/T4. Either way the wheels are what matter" Please advise if thats a problem as its a bit confusing, I'm itching to buy haha.. He also advised me to make the oil lines in- car so its the required length, I want to get a Kando oil line kit however if that will go on the Precision inlet. - 1/8" npt and -4 oil line recommended by him.
  18. Oh thanks man - I'm guna get it from FSR Motorsport from Cali. Just a quick one though, is it with anti surge or not -theres an 'S Cover' and an 'Anti-surge S Cover' according to real street: http://realstreetperformance.com/store/precision-billet-cea-5558-turbo-570hp-ball-bearing-or-journal-3146.html
  19. Ok ok, I WILL buy before end of this week, promise, it takes a day to communicate with US sellers due to time difference. But please do me a little favor, confirm/correct my specs listed above a few threads back.
  20. Hahahaaha! I want to slap my own self, seriously..shopping girl.
  21. Yes a journal bearing - I did many read-ups, the ball bearing options are not much more responsive for a lot more $$, the Unigroup boys convinced me these 5558s are very identical to the 3076r in spool, response and power but walks away after 23psi.
  22. I have heard back from the seller - $980 incl shipping, good price I reckon. So now I need to get all the specifics back to him. 5558 CEA Billet T3 V-band 0.63a/r, Type 'S' cover (4" in and 2.5" out). Surge slotted inlet or ported? Faark theres so many options. Please correct the specs for me haha.. Looking at you Jase, you know all this lol.. And 5858 ahhh maaan you guys confusing me grrrrrrr...please dont say thats better with a broader power band, I dont wana go research '5558 vs 5858 now. Just a tad worried on the 0.63a/r as I know with the 3076r, people go the 0.82 generally.
  23. hahaha u guys are bad..
  24. Why not Matt??? Or u mean no anti-surge??
