And Nismoid I got 235/40/18 Bridgestone Potenzers with great tread all round, RAYS lightweight wheels which look dumb, and Cusco adjustable coilovers which are too hard/bouncy - and yes get wheelspin with the stock snail at 12psi in first and second coming on hard..

  3. By light switch I meant like from no boost to all of a sudden you are punched into your seat hard from low-mid rpms, and no I dont like laggy large turbos, definitely not..looks like the ss1 fits the bill, but want 280rwkw on maybe 18-20psi
  4. No Stao, not wheel spin, I dislike wheelspin, what I need is hard takeoff and sharp kick in the seat, not linear power which u dont feel much...Talk about feelings, lol..
  5. E85 Nooooo ! ! that would need BIG injectors, pump, the whole fuelling system overhauled aye.. plus an E85 tune.. Why are most people running such low boost on these Hypergear turbos and hiflows - like 16-18psi?? Whats stopping you from cranking up to 20psi apart from restrictive cooler and exhaust, hopefully that will make you 280rwkw+??
  6. Scott, are you sure about the ss-2? SargeRX8 said a few times in this thread that this turbo has a very linear feel, not brutal/sharp which is what i want.
  7. Stao, which one of your turbos 'comes on like a light switch'?? (For R34GTT). Looking for Mitsubishi EVO like response and great power for a 100% street car. I like sharp brutal punchy torque that pushes u hard against the seat at low-mid rpms, dont like turbos that make linear power delivery. I'm aiming for 280rwkw with very hard punchy feel, not smooth and linear, want excellent 'area under the curve' - a low rpm response monster,..
  8. Hadnt turned the alarm on?? Mate that is really really foolish, no matter how 'secure' u make something out to be, you need to turn the alarm and immobiliser on! That would have saved your car possibly..

I had the same high pitched whistle at high boost 12psi when i bought the car, few months down the track the whistle went away and car started sounding like a tractor - turned out to be a shagged turbo-manifold gasket, $18 from an autoparts place, replaced that and the sounds a nice smooth RB Note now, plus got me a good amount of response

  13. But do u really need an aftermarket BOV and cap off ur factory one? I always thought u dont need to change the factory bov.

  17. Wheel balancing - get ur wheels balanced at a tyre shop - dont cost much

  19. try resetting the ecu too - remove battery terminals, repaetedly press brake pedal to drain all charge then put it back on
  20. thats the exact same reason I dont like supras - too bulky / heavy looking, looks more 20s something car, other than that my dream ride is a R34GTR/GTT with a 2JZ..

  23. Go EVO 7/8.. btw just wondering - a 270rwkw GTST and a 270awkw GTR - do they drive similar?? which one shoves u in the seat more, feels like its got more to give ??? Sure GTR is heavier, but its got awd.. still got way to go with my approx 190rwkw GTT....
  24. still dont get it why sell a GT-R for a GTS-T or GTT...sure rwd is fun, but awd is also 'point and shoot' fun???? much better on corners, bends, faster take-off...
  25. So will the car need a retune after installing the new 3" dump/front???? Will it screw up the afrs and increase boost??? Im running nistune and 12psi on stock turbo, got full 3" exhaust including 3" front pipe but the dump is stock! So just wana get a milde steel jjr dump/front. Hoping no retune required..
