Hi guys, not sure where to put this post. As you know I love shopping for car accessories.. it's my retail therapy Trying to get some roof racks for my daily, and have been doing some research. Wanted to find one that would suit different cars. Mainly use it to deliver random stuff like furniture from IKEA etc. I figured the delivery costs from 6 different shops would buy me a set of roof racks that I can keep, so I should go down this path. Had a look around and the one that seemed to fit my needs is the prorack whispbar from NZ. It looks good, is apparently the quietest/most aerodynamic/most fuel economical on the market, lockable and you don't have to buy new ones when changing cars, just new feet. http://www.prorack-international.com/au/Products/Whispbar/ Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this bar as there are no reviews on the net at all. I'm worried because of it's shape it will sag more easily. It's also pricey at around $330 installed, and the warranty is only 3 instead of 5 years from others (eg., Thule), so I wanted to hear other's opinions before I took the plunge. Thanks very much.

Absolutely awesome. Didn't realise there was that huge slope on the Spa track. Very interesting.

White R33 GTS-T eastbound on Vic St, Nth Melbourne around 1 hour ago. Driven by azn guy. Standard plates LOL downgrading...
-
Sorry, I'm a bit slow on this one. How is that Skyline related again?
-
Nice meeting you Peter. I actually prefer the look of the spoiler now Looking forward to seeing you on more future cruises. Variety is good. We should have a SAU-Vic and Evo club joint cruise Haha we would get raped on roads like those...

It's [WANZI] - seen him a few times at Box Hill.

Original manual GTT. No contest. Not only will you be getting a car that was designed from the factory to be manual, you should be able to get a better car in other respects as well for the 4k premium.

LOL yeah I know. Bleach FTW

I hate to be an internet n00b, but how do I view this? It says it's a private video and doesn't load?

Those stories just sicken me, more for the manifestly inadequate sentences than the crimes themselves, as I know that the justice system is pretty much giving violent young men with too much time on their hands free reign. Do you think a teenager gives a f*ck that he needs to do community service? And how can someone like that Carozzo guy, who seems to be racist against everyone, have a "good chance of rehabilition" in 10 years after taking part in a murder for pleasure? He needs life behind bars, in a cubicle with a huge black man hung like a horse.
-
$350 is insanely cheap. Maybe they were thinking parts only or something? As someone said, $1000 sounds more in the ballpark. If it's too expensive, may be cheaper to just sell your car and get a manual one lol

20 Skylines at the Mt Macedon member's cruise today, including an awesome black R34 GTR Saw [JETGTT] - White R34GTT? I think in Broadford? going the opposite way.

Thanks Wayne for organising a great cruise, and for what must have taken quite a while to write the cruise notes, which were a godsend to some of us who got cut off due to traffic lights at the start. Fantastic to meet some SAUers IRL for the 1st time. Sorry for those names I can't remember, but think I met Leon who was driving the lead car with Wayne as shotgun? And Justin/Jason can't remember who was driving - dudes were you holding back intentionally? I know even an N/A can go faster than that All in all, a decent day with the weather holding up. It was quite awesome to drive through the burnt out pillars of the trees in some areas and see the tiny new green leaves sprouting out again. The runs through the twisties were pretty good. Those narrow mountain roads with the sheer cliffs falling off mm beyond the white lines really made you focus on driving Did you guys see the roo on the left when we were flying? I nearly shat myself when it looked like it was about to cross the road in front of me. Didn't realise we were actually going to climb Hanging Rock, but I desperately needed the exercise. Think I lost a few kgs My car got leaner too... -50kg fuel, -20kg subwoofer, -100g adjustable section of rear spoiler Thank god didn't damage anyone else's ride. Thanks AJ for the fast pics. Good shot of the roo! Will upload some of my pics when I get a chance. Looking forward to video footage from AJ and James.

Saw a crapload of skylines in the CBD last night around 10 pm. Black R33 GTS-T near QV with For Sale stickers on rear 3/4 windows. White R33 GTS few secs later. Black R32 GTS25 with shameful HKS/etc stickers on the rear, parked on Lonsdale. Silver R33 GTS-T with no spoiler. Black R34 GT-T with ?bomex bodykit and removed spoiler on Lt Lonsdale. None of these had personalised plates. A few more I can't remember...

Silver 4-door R34 GT in Footscray around 4 pm. Seen it a few times around. Saw quite a few lines at Highpoint tonight: White R33 GTR with twin blue racing stripes down the middle parked near JB Hi-Fi Silver R32 GTR Black R33 GTS-T

Lol, yeah, just realised in the pic as well that it's an unconverted RHD R34 GT. Sh!t that skyline exporting business is looking mighty attractive right now Travis
-
Damn it would make it easier if all cars were RHD and all units in metric. UK, Japan, Australia, India, SE Asia all drive on the correct side. Doesn't it make sense to do the most skill-requiring procedure (steering) with your dominant hand and the less skill-requiring ones (shifting, turning up the music, eating, touching girls) with the non-dominant hand? It's the USA's fault. If they go RHD, the rest of the undeveloped world will follow. Then, hey, great savings for auto makers and consumers everywhere in the world.
-
75k USD for a R34 GT-T modded to look like an R34 GTR. Why don't you just friggin buy an R34 GTR? Seriously... I can't imagine a secondhand R34 GTR costing more than a Viper (approx 75k), including say 10-20k for a LHD conversion.

Better yet, leave her at home
