I love the look of the series 1 GTO's with their pop-up lights. The later versions with their ugly headlights just didn't do it for me. LOL @ R34 GTR being practical. You must be the only person on SAU-Vic who changed to a LIGHTER car when you bought an R34 GTR lol.

Well, I know who I'll be voting for then.

ROFLMAO Absolutely love the Fujitsobo naming systems.... "Power Getter" to... get.... power "Legalis" for being street legal "Wagolis" for... wagons.... Their marketing manager needs to be promoted. Absolute gold.

The Varex sounds perfect for you. Sound ON for fun and sound OFF for cops/missus. Have your pie and eat it too. Wish I got the varex.... awesome setup.

Hahaha I know. TBH, I'd be happy with any speed

Sorry, I realise this ad is super-sexist, but I have to admit it was damn funny nonetheless (although the last game was a bit over-the-top). Please don't watch it if you don't like crass comedy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SXNAtwYMBw Mods please feel free to delete if it contravenes SAU terms of use/good taste.

Well done mate. Nothing quite like a 34R.

Thought I'd post this here too. I have been getting quite crap fuel economy (15.6L/100km or around 300km per 50L tank) in my R34 GTR. I drive very conservatively. Mods include: GT2860-5s, PWR 700cc injectors, powerFC+boost controller, pod filters, cam gears, dump/split pipe, hipower catback, etc. The turbo and bigger injectors only went 2 months ago. The fuel economy (or lack of) existed before the bigger injectors went in though, so it's not them. I also keep the engine well lubed with 300V filled to the line. The cars only done about 55000 kms. Dunno if it's related but the boost readout on the stock MFD occasionally shows 0 boost no matter how I drive, despite no change in the boost readout on the PFC hand controller. Guess it's a boost sensor thing. I thought it must be the O2 sensors, and turns out the O2 feedback control was set to OFF in the PFC. However, turning it ON made absolutely no difference to fuel economy. The obvious differences that I noticed though, were O2 sensor feedback OFF - Smoother idle - Both 02 sensor voltages 0.00 at idle. Both are responsive and increase similarly when throttling. On cruise, around 0.04 for both. O2 sensor feedback ON - Lumpier idle - O2 sensor 1 voltage around 0.80 at idle, O2 sensor 2 voltage 0.00. When cruising, O2 sensors are around 0.80 and swap around continually Might need your help deciphering this guys. I realise everyone is busy and people here aren't paid to give advice, but any would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Yeah dunno why Nissan decided against front GTR badges for R32 GTRs.

God.... Damn... if you park a new DB9 Volante out on the street I'd love to see what you've got in the garage Oh yeah, sorry I didn't realise they were anti-roll bars. That's some vicious deployment. But twin NOS bottles in a DB9 would've been cool. DB9 volantes have 2+2 seats right? What happens when the bars deploy with people in the back? Obviously AM have engineered for their safety as well, but from the photo it looks like they'd get a huge metal rod up their ass or something lol

Wish I could find the business card of this lawyer. He is a car nut himself and specialises in defending your defect in court, and he advertises in import car mags. Will post up details when I do.

Hmmm quite disappointing. With 02 sensor feedback turned ON there was no difference in fuel economy. Still getting 15.6L/100km for mixed city/hwy driving. I drive the same roads on the same days at the same time with the same traffic conditions and driving style all the time, so there is hardly any variation. Thanks very much.

How the f*ck did that happen? Did you bring the roof down with those two (are they NOS bottle enclosures lol) in the rear? And I must have missed when convertible soft-tops converted to real glass rear windows...

It's true that an AWD supercar with 700 AWHP should be going far faster than 3.35 and 11.28. That's almost as slow as the original R35. Double the ponies should make the car a low 10 sec car at least. Maybe their babying the clutch/transmission. I have my doubts about its longevity when far more mildly modified R35s are breaking them at the drag strip.

Lol that's dedication

GTA is the most city-central one. But some people have had problems with their attitude and customer relations (or lack thereof)... myself included.

Such bastards. I hope the douchebags who threw the bottles got done for drink driving. No, I think O'Brien, etc can still fix that. They put this huge suction thing on the windscreen - I think it's the size of a palm, then pump this liquid glass stuff in and let it set. It just fills up all the defects in the windscreen and you can hardly tell afterwards. Give them a call. Got nothing to lose. Not sure how much I believe the O'Brien ads, but apparently using cold aircon on a hot day can make small chips fracture into larger ones, so I guess you should get it fixed.

I thought there was? It's even stickied. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ep...Th-t156269.html

Sure you don't want a Samoyed? They are ultra-cute as puppies - more like toys than anything. They look magnificent when they are full grown. I am looking at getting one or two in the near future. Apparently the three main lines of sled dogs - Siberian husky, Alaskan Malamute and Samoyed (all originally bred in same arctic climate, just different continents) are part of the 14 "ancient" pure breed lineages. They are fantastic working dogs, but their huge fur can be a problem. Also, if you're a smaller guy or girl usually you need some muscles to control a Malamute, which is the biggest of the three. My uncle has a huge-ass Malamute and even though I'm not a small guy, when she decides to run for it, I have a lot of trouble trying to stop her. The reason I love Samoyeds is of their magnificent white coat, their perpetually "smily" faces and sunny temperament, and because they don't have the "dog" odour that most dog breeds have (someone in the family has a sensitive nose). They are energetic though, and their coat requires decent maintenance. That said, I think you will be happy with a husky if you have time to spend with it, or if you get two and let them play around with each other if you have a large yard.

Thanks for the advice. Nah, doesn't power on no matter what else is going on electrically. Doesn't seem to have a reset button. Haven't checked fuses yet. Will do that.

Thanks mate. There were I think four R34 GTRs on the cruise: yours, Aaron's weapon - white with the black CF bonnet, Mizzi's stock Nur and mine (the totally stock-looking silver one... from outside at least ) That's good advice on the STI vs GTR. I don't think I will be too disappointed when I make the switch in regards to driving on the street, although I definitely will miss the R34 GTR's looks! C u around.
