    Wedding Idea's

For celebrants, Des Stow is very professional and fantastic, and also has very competitive prices http://www.theweddingdirectory.com.au/Marr...1151-7-0-0.html For photographers, these can range from $500 to $5000. We chose a relatively cheaper company and spent the savings on the honeymoon. The pictures, while may not be award-winning, were still great. Maria will also bend over backwards to accomodate your needs. http://www.perfectmomentsphotography.com.au/

    Wedding Idea's

I reckon the best place to get married is Butleigh Wootton on Glenferrie Rd in Kew. http://www.butleighwootton.com.au/main.html They've won best caterer 3 years in a row. Food is fantastic, the central staircase and surrounding gardens are sensational. There is enough parking, and it's close to the city. Very reasonable prices as well. We also had a look at the Willows on St Kilda Rd. http://www.thewillowsrestaurant.com.au/ Probably only good for up to around 60-70 people. Little cramped for more. But can't beat the convenience of the location. (All the pics are of Butleigh Wootton)
  4. Should probably post this in the NSW section as well if you haven't already
  5. Went to get some takeaway duck from Rock Kung in Glen Waverley shopping village and saw a burgundy R33 GTS-T and White R34 GT-T [WANZI] around 4pm. Saw two silver R33 GTS-Ts on Lonsdale around 5pm. The second one was perhaps the only one in Melbourne with a stock twin-pipe exhaust lol. Also around 6pm on Little Collins near Spencer a silver R32 with modified front grille.
  6. LOL Don't listen to GTR-boy.
  7. Hi Ben. Your car was awesome, and totally love the plates. But didn't see you at the Apollo Bay pier lineup? How does going from Sti to R34 GTR feel? I'm going to swap my R34 GTR in a few years for a "family" car - likely going to be an AWD 4-door, probably an Evo X. I wanted to have something almost as fun to drive as the GTR, but with a boot and 4 doors. Just wondering how much of a difference it made making the switch. I heard that EVOs/STIs are dynamically better in the twisties than the larger and heavier GTRs, but don't know from experience. Hope to see you and the car at later cruises. Cheers.
  8. Well everyone knows CD is expensive, but I hadn't even heard of BBC till recently, and I certainly wouldn't think their jeans are worth that much having seen the samples on the net.
  9. Went for a day trip to the Mornington Peninsula today and godDAMN there were some nice cars around. Guess it's good friday so all the richies with their Sorrento holiday houses are out in force. Saw two Astons (one of them a DB9 with plates [308], the others non-custom), two 911 turbos, a 911 GT2, and a gorgeous RR Phantom Drophead! Also a shiteload of black and white M3s, Lotus Elises, and Porsche Boxsters.
  10. Black R33 GTS?T southbound on Melbourne Rd, Williamstown around 12 noon today with SAUVIC stickers. Burgundy R33 GTS-T Westbound in Sorrento around 5pm today. 7pm on Russel St, near Chinatown: White 4-door R34 GT with "camel-spec" suspension and chromies. Dude that car has more ground clearance than most 4WDs!!
  11. What a tool, not only did he bastardize the epitome of Mercedes style, he had to get platinum and diamond veneers on his teeth just so he can show off his wealth. He looks like a cross between a wimpy schoolkid with braces and the henchman Jaws from the 007 flicks for god's sakes. People like him are exactly the ones who can't appreciate money or good taste and don't deserve either. He also co-created a clothing company called Billionaire Boys Club, selling normal clothes at hugely inflated prices eg., jeans for half a grand AUD. Nuff said.
  12. OK. No worries. Anyone going to the May one?
  13. At the moment cops can just see a car they may "think" is loud drive past, then enter it into the database and a standard EPA letter gets mailed out. Or they can just say "too low" without justification and we have to sort it out. Too easy. I wish defecting/EPA issuing a vehicle involved a lot more paperwork (eg., writing up a detailed report, photos of the defect and relevant measurements, references to paragraphs in VSI, etc, etc). The crimes that ACTUALLY IMPACT on people's safety eg., drunk/negligent driving and violent crimes should have more streamlined paperwork. That way you get police power where it's needed... what a thought. If only....
  14. Is this an official SAU thing we are going to? Couldn't find it on the events calendar.
  15. LOL. You'r livin' in the PAST dude.

    About Victoria

Or just get a loan. With low interest rates, not a bad choice if you're desperate for a car. And when you graduate you should have no probs getting a job to pay it back. That said, it sucks to have a loan hanging over your head before you enter the workforce.
  17. R33 GTS-T on Whitehall Rd 730 am.
  18. That's frigging shiny. Good effort.
  19. You can probably tell from the trailers and the recycled title that it wasn't going to be a quality movie. I hate the F&F series using GTTs, NA supras and 540is and mod them to pass them off as GTRs, turbo supras and M5s.

    Sad Day

Find it hard to believe that he parked his brand spanking new car on the grass just next to a dangerous corner on a drift track used by 2-tonne trucks lol.
  21. Hey Blake, I met you in Apollo Bay. Was tailing you for a bit on GOR in the silver R34 GTR. How's your boot subbie going? Hopefully u didn't rip out all the wires when you were thrashing it Now that you're a member you should definitely join us on future cruises. Nice to have some variety.
  22. Just came back from the member's GOR cruise. Very impressed with the power and clarity of the FD-460A. Definitely no probs reaching everyone in the convoy with a cb. Many had lower power ones (0.5W, 1W) so they had some probs being heard. Need to get a better antenna though. Neither Jaycar nor Dick Smith sell them, despite selling CBs. I think Timeplus on Sydney Rd, Brunswick is the only place that does in Melb???
  23. Search for VSI8.pdf It's on SAU somewhere, or on Vicroads website.
  24. Best suits for the price are in SE Asia like Vietnam, Thailand, etc. Tailor-made, decent quality wool/cloth/cashmere. $AU100 max. TAILOR-MADE yo! The material costs like $90. $5 for the labour and $5 profit. Crazy. And it's same-day pickup. These guys are FAST.
