  1. That's cuz they aren't real
  2. Awesome thanks. Wonder if anyone had done it to an R34 GTR before in Oz? Looks great, seen it done to one in the US. But admittedly that had the whole wide-body kit, huge GT wing, carbon hood thing going on.
  3. It looks good to me. AWD wagons/sportbacks are great. I love the 5-doors and more space. Perfect car to go to the slopes in. Plus I buy a crapload of groceries each time I can be bothered to go. The GTR with its tiny boot and subbie just doesn't cut it I was very tempted to get the Evo 9 wagon when it came out, but I don't think the came to Oz.
  4. Surely that cost would be offset by everyone in Europe/US able to watch the GP live. Thats a far few million people. The advertising companies would not exactly get pennies and dimes from the ad slots.
  5. Staying of the booze/drugs and not hooning around is one thing, but having mild mods of questionable legality is another. If a cop went through a SAUVIC meet with a defecting comb that would be an expensive exercise...
  6. Wait, so you have a bought a S13 AND a R33 coupe in the last week or so?!?!?!
  7. Well sounds pretty good to me. The cost to taxpayers would be like average $15-20 per Victorian taxpayer each year it runs. That's ok for having the GP. They also don't estimate how much tourism and local economical benefits it may generate. One question, why not a night race? I reckon it would be awesome. Like night-time snowboarding on Bullar. Is it the St Kilda yuppy/guppy parade who need their sleep?

  9. Matte black is damn nice. How much would it cost? Where could I have this done?
  10. I think he gets the prize for being the most spotted by a long shot. Every week at least one person spots him.
  11. Dude, twin turbo Supras, along with Evos have always been the cheapest reliable performance you can buy. Supra RZs were selling for around 25k years ago. Can't get much cheaper for something with comparable performance, but newer, more reliable and in most people's eyes better looking than a R32 GTR.
  12. Huh? I don't get it. What's with all the fences?
  13. I reckon best I ever saw was [sTOLEN] few years back. On green Jag I think.
  14. Should be [sXWNTD] Lol at [KRAMPD]. Reminds me of that guy in the Simpsons who teaches Nelson a lesson
  15. You sure there isn't a Porsche dealership somewhere and they were all test driving?
  16. Haha I reckon Lygon St after the Grand Prix each year is the best place to go. I never knew so many Ferraris even existed in Melbourne. It's great, eating pizza and ogling Fezzas, walking down Lygon eating Il Dolce Freddo ice-cream (mmmm) and ogling more Fezzas.
  17. Spotted in Bendigo today: 1. Bayside Blue R34 GTR V-Spec on Pall Mall at around 2 pm. Rego WJJ---. I was behind you and honked. 2. White R33 going around roundabout in city centre few mins later. I waved. 3. Passed a white R34 GT-T with a middle-aged guy going the other way as I was on the Calder Melbs-bound.
  18. Are u talking about a spoiler extension? Or something like this in the pic: Wish I had a photo of the Aussie S15 that had a triple-layered spoiler. Looked absolutely ridiculous and was actually significantly higher than the hood of the car. Was on the cover of Hot4s/HPI a few years ago.
  19. Lol at least your cat doesn't leave scratch marks on your cars. Cat stayed out of garage after I got the GTR.
  20. Great to hear you got the car you wanted, Alan. I remember when we were both deciding between Evos and R34 GTRs and you went one way and I went the other. Your EVO is more BFYB for sure. You need to show it to me at a meet sometime so that I can see what I missed out on
  21. Hmm, yeah I'd rather have my spare in the boot. Means I have less boot space with my subbie over it (and means I have to unscrew mounting brackets and amp wires to get to it, but at least I have that option).
  22. Jeez, what happens when u puncture a tire then? R34 tires aren't run-flats are they?
  23. Congrats! Enjoy ur new GTR, it's a great car. The only car I owned and drove prior to the GTR was a shitbox auto Magna. Let's just say a modified R34 GTR with a twin-plate clutch is probably not a car to learn to drive manual on. That said, I really noticed the 1000X better performance.
