  1. Versace stickers! Gold!
  2. Thanks Mark. Good idea.
  3. Isn't our GP going to Singapore for the night race in a few months?
  4. Hahaha oops I got totally pwned! Didn't realise the name in the pic was Karla! Sorry bout that! Having said that, I have a few mates from SG who have girl names for some reason eg., Wendy.
  5. Silver R33 GTS-T parked on Arden Rd in Nth Melbourne this morning. Had LED tail lights!! Looked great. Wished I had those and a Z-tune bonnet for my 34. Footscray market was Skyline central around 4pm today: - Silver R33 with nice black rims (too far away to tell what kind) at lights. - White R34 4-door with black bonnet parked. - Silver R34 GT-T around car park. Azn guy with glasses and beanie.
  6. You serious!!?! That's funny shit! Gotta love the riceyness of a lot of stuff from AB/SCA. eg., non-functional hood vents that actually make your 50HP excel significantly slower as it traps the air and causes wind resistance
  7. Lol, or how hard cops should try to look for mods.
  8. Hope you have advertised on both carsales.com.au and carpoint.com.au. Between them they should cover 99% of auto sales in Oz. Well, Skylines take very long to sell in the current economic climate eg., fuel costs, increasing costs of living, poor consumer confidence. A R32 GTR is essentially a plaything, not a daily necessity so depends on people's priorities. I have been scouting out an R34 GTR to buy in Melbourne since February. Apart from the one I bought a few months ago, all the other ones are still for sale. Go figure that one out.
  9. http://www.jbskyline.net/R33/4door/ The Autech 260RS really appealed to me and I was planning on getting one in a few years as a family car, before I saw this thing. Anyone ever seen one of these babies?
  10. Dude, no Singlish allowed at the meet But feel free to ring your female friend in the pic
  11. If u got pulled over here with that setup because the officer thought you had illegally turbo'd your Excel or something you could pop the hood and say "Look, no turbos!" He wouldn't be able to see them either without a hoist if it's in the midde of the underbody.
  12. I concur, well said Seriously the base Boxster is bought by posers and greying men with mid-life crises. No-one who's a serious driver would buy one.
  13. And if you spend 100+k on a new Boxster and are constantly embarassed at the lights by 18-year old P-platers in their Mum's Aurion, I think you would reassess your priorities.
  14. U serious? If you bought the R35 GTR or an E90 M3 for $160k you're telling me you wouldn't be tempted to get at least an ECU/exhaust? People who spend 100+k on cars don't really care about spending an extra few thousand to get more power - in fact it is very cost effective compared to spending on say a Skyline. ie., for a much lower percentage of the cost of the car you can boost a car's power to a similar extent. The people who buy expensive sportscars are usually not the ones who have to sacrifice and save every last penny to buy them - they are usually well established in all aspects of life and get the sportscar as a plaything/statement. Due to mods and accessories, it is hard to find two skylines exactly identical, and that is great as it means they really are personalisable cars. But you couldn't tell the difference between one red Ferrari 430 and another. I appreciate that many ownsers of high end super cars may think any modification will spoil the natural balance/reliabilty or devalue the car, but if I had one I would definitely modify it. eg,. Twin Supercharged F430 http://whatsthecrack.net/F430-Twin-Turbo-Evoluzione
  15. Lol. I never understood those huge shopping lists of Japanese aftermarket companies on people's cars. Sure, if they sponsor you you have to put em on, but otherwise, they just look so ricey. 99% of the people who put them on don't even have any of the stuff installed in their car.
  16. The normal Boxster is shit slow! (and cheaper than most expect - only around 30-35k for old models I think) I remember a Best Motoring race where it was up against GTR, EVO, NSX, RX-7, etc and got left half a lap behind. In the end the guy driving's like, "Well, I like the interior". Boxster S is not bad, and I would seriously buy it over the Cayman S. Hmm.... convertible version cheaper than hardtop - not a hard decision. I just don't like the lack of widespread aftermarket tuning options available, especially for entry level porsches.
  17. Gold/Black TE37s are the shizz Can't hack the white ones though... Wish I had a set
  18. D'oh! One of the few times I wish I was a lesbian.
  19. Don't worry, I'm a Westie. I'm sure there are heaps of others as well. And even if those Easties have GTRs when they're 18, they can't drive them for 3 years
  20. I'm really looking forward to this meet. But maybe holding a statewide meeting of hotted up skylines on a Friday night in Albert Park with 3 square km of visibility and absence of noise barriers (including Police HQ on Flinders), is not such a good idea?? Anyone else think an alternate mid-weekday night and less prominent venue PM'd to members who show an interest might be more prudent?
  21. Well, you're right, I don't know what that supra has under the bonnet. But I can guarantee you on suburban 0-60 km/h roads (which is where he has to continually prove his plates), no matter how souped it is, if any decent GTR driver wanted to smoke him they could. They both can go to 60 km/h in 1st in a blink of an eye, but AWD kicks ass when launching. Note: All the above pearls of wisdom are taken from direct observation of Best Motoring videos and do not represent reality.
  22. That car is so sexy...
  23. Holy shit! 110 kph from an RC! That car can be snapped for speeding even on the freeway lol. You could be driving and your passenger could be racing you with the RC.
