Is there anyway to respray the top / roof of your car without spraying the whole car. By the way, this is on a black car. thanks

I've heard that there are some places that can make up a mould floor mat for your car - Does anyone know anywhere that will make mats to fit skylines by copying the mould of the factory mats? It would be pretty sweet if we (SAU) could organise a group buy for some mats that were moulded for skylines with the SAU logo / name on them - I'd take one!!

it doesn't do anything on a gtst I don't understand how your saying above that the restrictor causes creep???? If it restricts the flow to the wastegate it will do THE OPPOSITE! Also, you say that removing it will mean the wastegate will stay shut until it reaches the preset level - can you want to explain why this is????

Removing the restrictor will do nothing!

The restrictor is there to limit the volume of air going to the bleed valve (or factory solenoid) to ensure that boost is controlled better. Many tuners (even ICE) use restrictors in the line going to a bleed valve to limit the volume of air the bleed has to "bleed off" so that spikes can be reduced. I don't understand how "freeing up" the vacuum line will allow more boost to build up? :confused: By this logic, more pressure in this line will mean the wastegate shuts earlier = less boost Also, it is normal for a std car to boost to 7.5psi and then to 10psi with an exhaust with no other changes.

I know there's a couple of brands of the stuff - but the brand I've got is "Magic". Just about any coles or kmart will have it near the superglue.

try it - it works really well (goes out and buys shares in super glue remover company) But try it on a spot of paint you can't see first to check if it's gonna effect your paint. inasnt - you can get some really stong double sided tape stuff, similar to the one that comes with an SAFC originally from a hardware store. It doesn't even leave a mark.

The molecules on your dash may have changed forever, I suggest you immediately go and visit a Chemical Engineer or someone who is experienced in dealing with the transformations of polymers and get some help!!!! ..........or just go buy some super glue remover!

no offence to you pva - but if you want to get rid of it without a mark, I would definitely not do this.

The one I have here is "Magic" Brand. It gets rid of the glue by applying it a few times and it breaks it down and you can wipe it away. Don't know if it would leave a mark on your dash, best bet is to test it for colourfastness on a small spot of you dash which is out of view.

you can buy superglue remover from Coles/k-mart or somewhere like that - works really well.

guys, to sidetrack. i always thought that the losses on a dyno were roughly worked out by dividing by 0.7 - 0.75. So, someone with, say 183 rwkw , would have around 245 - 260kw @ engine. Am I way off? Don't std r33's put out around 130rwkw, which equates to 0.7?

anyone else have tint a car summer breeze tint? what do you think of it if you do?

I'm getting tint a car to do mine this weekend and have looked at all of their tints. 35% is the darkest legal and I'm going for the "Summer Breeze" tint. Has anyone else got this tint, what do they think of it?
