  2. dunno if this helps but when my battery recently went flat I jump started it and since then my air bag light would not turn off. took it to nissan and they said it happens often when you jump start and they simply reset it in a couple if minutes by hooking it up to their computer. (but charged me $80 the bastards)
  3. damn, got home and no dump!? gonna call him and make sure he sent it to me cos I'll start to get shitty if it doesn't come soon, cos i booked in the exhaust place and dyno last week when it was meant to come and now I have this weekend lined up so hopefully it's on the way

  6. my exhaust guy said that the high flow cats that sell for $250 aren't really any better flowing - they are just bigger and that my cat would be just as good if not better if it was flared out. He said that the true high flow cats are worth around $700 - $800 and I'm not spending that much on a cat ad I don't think that the increase over a flared out cat would be that big - neither did he. he's the expert!!

  13. mines going in on saturday along with a front pipe being made up and having my cat flanges flared out to 3" at a place in south yarra! (SAFC to come later for me) I just spoke to rama and he said that wastegate pipe is around 35 mm (between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inch). he made a good point by saying that the hole for the wastegate is samller then this so this size is more then enough - anyway if the wastegate pipe didn't flow enough, all it would mean is a tiny bit more boost under high revs
  14. thanks man, yeah thats what i thought from the pics - but he said it was 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inch and that what the ones at jms are, so I guess it's ok
  15. nah, I don't think so cos when I spoke to him, he had just made this "batch" up (his word - like he just took some cookies out of the oven) from the laser cut flanges he had just received. anyway, he said that he made up a bunch (maybe 10) and he must have sent you one of those, and then when I spoke to him yesterday - he only had about 2 left - so I got one of the last ones. Have you measured the diameter of the pipes at the turbo flange side? wanted to know how big the wastegate pipe is.
  16. inasnt, I ordered the exact same dump from arrow diffs as well. its good cos he sent it cod and mine should arrive tomorrow
  17. my opinion - use an agent. the one I had was very professional and it made it all very easy, I could imagine it would have been a big headache and heaps of running around if I didn't. I think it was worth the $1500 or so I paid, there's a lot to the process that you may not consider. only my opinion though, it's up to you in the end.
  18. anyone know if the standard S15 silvia wheels will fit on an r33 gtst??????? what do you think they would look like? (anyone wanna photochop me one? )
  19. is this flat spot that bad and does everyone encounter it - I was about to install a blled valve next week to take it to 10psi but now.......???? Should I if it means I will have a big flat spot??? Will installing the bleed give me an increase in performance??? thanks guys
  20. do many people encounter this? cos I am going to increase boost to 10psi and I didn't want this to occur

  22. I mean driving along in 2nd and then giving it to it! Not breaking wheelspin in 1st and then continuing it through the gears cos that would be easy! :burnout:
  23. mine too - 1100 'ish when cold and then settles to around 658rpm (or thereabouts ) under my bonnet there is a factory sticker that says it should be tuned to idle at 600 rpm +/- 50 rpm
  24. hey guys, sorry to butt into joels thread but I was also after the same info. I going to get a blitz dual sbc (spec s) - are these any good? - Will it spike? - Will it bring on boost faster? - Will it hold 10psi well? thanks
