Last time I was out on photos I only used shutter speed settings, this time I went for Aperture as well. Some of the photos turned out better, some didn't, but there's always time to take more later down the track Also wouldn't hurt to start a bit earlier to get a bit more natural light into the photos.

Thing is though, he was probably going 55-60 as well before he spotted me, and as soon as I slowed down to around 45, he slowed to around 40.

This happened twice tonight, I'm going 55 in a 60 zone (to conserve fuel) and in both cases, a cop in front of me slows down to around 40, even when he has other cars behind him. Once he realised that my car is completely stock they turn off into some random side street, probably pissed off that he won't meet his quota tonight

V-Power is definitely 98 Octane: http://www.colesexpress.com.au/shell-fuels...ll-v-power.aspx Their 95 Octane variety is just called Shell Unleaded 95.

I've heard someone say that 98 Octane fuels offered by the different petrol station brands are different in their makeup, and apparently BP ultimate is the better one to use. Is this true or a load of waffle? Does it really matter if someone uses V Power or BP Ultimate or Vortex 98?

Not sure if this is th right location but here goes... I've noticed that the passenger side door interior secor squeaks a bit when I drive over bumps, etc and when you press down on it. Would this be an easy fix? Does it just need some tightning? Cheers in advance.

Spotted a white GTT on Marion Road at around 7pm with the plates of, surprize surprize, GTT. Would have waved but was in the Astra with the parentals on the way home with the new TV.

Just wanted to get a general opinion from you guys. So I've been driving manual for well over a year now. I have been told different stories on what gear to use while cruising down the road at 60 (or 66 ) km/h. I've generally gone to fifth gear as I've heard that it saves petrol, but I've heard other stories telling me that it's not so good for the engine. What's the general concensus out there?
