  4. Hey Ian, John can not go near a computer i have tried many times they just die everytime he touches them. Yes the calculations are done for everything on and in the motor. The water methanol injection nozzel will be placed infront of the turbo. John has said this will help cool the charge and increase the pressure ratio of the turbo as you now are compressing air with liquid vapour ( density increase = higher turbo pressure ratio). I will be using a snow performace setup that will be modified.

  6. I was at John's Workshop and I found some paper work related to the build. Its very interesting how much details John has gone into with his calculations. This was done back in 2008 and he has box loads of it. I guess it would be a mission to post each page. Well I managed to get some pics of the paper work i know to some people it wont mean much however to some its priceless. Enjoy
  7. Pic below shows you the difference in the nismo manifold fuel rail and the standard top rail. Injector spacing is different. The blue fail is tomei rail. Below pic is showing the manifold runner shape and how its machined from nismo factory.

  9. We will have both blanks running under full load and both banks running full sequential. Yes if it was me id just run the one injector ie ID2000's. Well i remember about 2 years ago when i said to John can we just run the one injector,one large one. John went into great detail and expained injector frequency can run one cycle out of phase im not sure what that means and he said this is why we run two bank to cover up the out of phase injector. I guess whats in Johns head is a greater understand in full detail how this whole buid is going to work. Spray pattern is extremly important Vs Fuel Pressure you can bump fuel pressure and have the injectors spray like a hose in full liquid form, this is a mistake made by many people. This can lead to detenation caused by bad air fuel mixing.

  11. The face where you have to drill has the angle you can measure, it's impossible to make a mistake
  12. Below is a nismo manifold showing the installation of the second bank of injectors. Not many people know that the nismo manifold already has all the hard work done for you, all you need to do is drill the holes where the injectors sit and add a fuel rail its so simple.
  13. I would spend more time on google understand turbo's. I would like you to look at compressor maps then choose one of the shelf. Turbo's that are HP rated , this only tells you the entry hole size that equals to how much air flow through the hole size. If you need some good info let me know.
  14. John does not like secrets about building a motor or anything else in this world. I did say to John that i would keep this build open for anyone to ask questions and give the right answers. This is why John has stepped into building this build , and he did state this is his last and no more after this one. Great to hear that you know of John Skola and i will ask about his experience in Melb !!! cant wait to see what he has to say. Would love to speak to you about your rb26 experience and what other things you have found. Thank you for your comments.
  15. I hope people start to follow it now with the simple set up of the motor for a start. IE Squish, Correct cam selection and correct static comp i think if you get these three right you will be heading in the right direction. If you need more info just let me know.
