  2. Best buy a nismo Z-tune bonnet will give you heaps of room as i have checked the difference from the china Z-tune bonnet to the Nismo Z-tune Bonnet , Nismo one has about 10mm more clearance. Not sure if you have read my build on here R34 gtr build - Jem Dyno
  3. Wow thank you Ian for answering the asked question, all i can add to it is wasted gas is energy that has been used to do work. Ian i think john has made the venturi so the turbine gases is low pressure and wategate pressure is high therefore this will extract gases from the turbine to make the turbo more efficient under boost i can ask him again, i understand where your coming form also. 100% agree on how you have explained the turbo selection as john said he wants ie 20% exhaust gas to drive the turbo to desired boost the rest waste. I guess the theory is all here just need to see it all happen. Also i am in the process in installing all the Pressure and Temp sensors again another huge task as sensor placement has to be done all correctly as any data has to follow a trend and not give false reading due to incorrect placement, this will be all done with Johns guidance.
  4. How much quicker ?? also what rpm are you getting your desired boost??
  5. Need to ask, what is your wish list for a 3L bottom end ( what gains are you looking for)??
  6. The only car comes to mind is mark berry's R34 gtr Advan hi octane car, they use a 26/30 combo.
  7. Hmmm i think everyone had problems i guess thats the game you want to go fast well things will always break. It was a real good event held by Andrew love to see more of it through the year. The powertune R34 Gtr was amazing to watch - good work guys and the owner of course

  14. All die's and drawing work will be kept for those reasons if anyone wants to attempt making it. It would be a good idea to see if a 5 axis CNC machine could make the collector!!!
