personally LED underbody are nice... if its on a lancer (omg fully sik mate) then its RICE. my way of putting it is if its on a nice car then it'll look nice. rule is...for ever 100hp=1 underbody neon/led tube. you are allowed 2 paul, most of us anyway if you can squeeze another 70hp into her you can have 3!

was onto that anyway great to see some response but we'll need more people this time. expecting more than this but we'll see what happens...

Definitely time for another one as it's been too long. Whoever can make it that'll be bloody awesome whoever doesn't bad luck. Meet will be at City West carpark (corner Roe st and Sutherland st). The time will be at 1pm departing 1.30pm and expect a 3-4hr cruise. Will be a great day to catch up with old and new v and z drivers. At this stage there maybe a BBQ happening bit will confirm closer to date. Hope to see majority of WA v and z drivers. Richard

Out Of Puff...2l Turbo Vs 3.5l Na
xtc replied to siu_loong_bao's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
my mate bought a is250 a few months ago, had a test drive and it wasnt bad...not as good as the v im afraid but is very luxury and a refined ride. however i would choose the v, more of a sports luxury and unique...well at least for now until the market swarms with them hence the reason why ive stayey with this car for almost a year now i used to change cars every 2-3months. -
someone take over this time im abit busy for the next few weeks, if you need maps or anything pm me as i have a few. lets get it rolling paul, hopefully this time more than 13 vs showing up =)

The V Series Spotted Thread
xtc replied to funkymonkey's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
i doubt anyone in wa has done a conversion with 370z front, or even the whole of aus, you sure? even if it was a 370z the back rear lights of it wont be able to fit the v so it wont fit? -
good thing as ive got my gfs brothers birthday which i forgot was on tonight. its near the meetpoint though hrmmmm.

it would be good if you did the comparison tests between the fuels used. i tried but couldnt get an exact figure as my foot sometimes get a little itchy =) however i did notice that bp 98 does respond better and slightly better milege. i remembered sometime in august i managed 630kms home and work everyday on bp and vortex was max 550k. anyway we shall see rianto. -
you mean the monthly one? i can make it but im usually the only v there so i cbf going since if your going let me know roy so at least we can talk about vqs rather than about rbs all night. ill check the thread tomorrow.

when i first got the v i was neck to neck with a f6 typhoon, nowadays just cruising as im on the dlble or nothing program =( also in wa ive notice that the caltex vortex 98 lacks in power and responsiveness the bp 98 is better. we dont have v power =( -
btw $450 at fibrevision isnt so bad so you better bơk in quick because they do take awhile as they have moved to doing insurance jobs aswell.

np mate, give the other 2 a call and see how much. generally the reason why they are a tad expensive is due to the fitting of the aftermarket kits, some wont fit on properly. even if its one of the good ones made around itll only be a 90-95% fit, no kit is perfect fitment unless you go genuine but again they wont be 100% either. i was going to go custom before and bought a 350z aftermarket bumper to fit onto my v (got quoted quite abit) and kenstyle back and was about to order the wondrous sides but at that time i needed as much cash as i could to open up a business. definitely will get a kit once i come back from holiday at end of this year and yerh hope to see you on next cruise which would be posted up shortly.

wow havnt seen some of you blokes for a long while. another wa cruise is a def. however i dont think 18th is going to work kurt, this time i was thinking to make it big as ive recently seen the v community over here grow have been seeing more around my suburb etc and some guys obline lately from wa. a good long notice should be better as the 18th is too soon and no one would actually rock up but then again i wouldnt mind going and catching up kurt. as for now if paul is not anxious and wetting his pants hows 31st oct or 1st november sound? sorry missed you last time when you where down at hillarys bud think i was in melbourne. anyway i will start a new thread soon and we'll start from there but for now please show some hands who able to go on those dates?

i recently lost my licence to undercover wrx hatch...and since then on the double or nothing scheme and have been pulled over twice since then. had 20s on my v when i was pulled over, checked the whole car no sticker no nothing, this was 2 weeks ago. im guessing cop had pms and was throwing tamtroms at paul. some cops are nice others arent, some days good some days bad, what ive learnt is sometimes your just at the wrong place wrong time.
-
well done buddy, def have to meet up some time soon another wa v cruise maybe.
-
i give the thumbs up or *salute* when i see another v. have seen quite a few members on here already, had 13-14 turn up for the wa first ever v cruise. before that saw 2 girls both with white Vs 1 at burswood casino both waved back, second time was when i had the car for a month i saw PULP near my area wave was exchanged, spotted straightg, will power etc. have not seen v35 paul yet but have with nearly all the WA members. ive been with many clubs, evos, holdens etc, so i used to wave to guys i know before but nowadays only v35s or other sau members as they would recognise my sau member logo sticker. other than that i dont think the V will become as common as the 32 33 or 34... well at least not anytime soon.
