  1. As a tradition for every V series cruise there is a thread so it makes search easier for future reference. the last 4 rounds has been a success so once again lets make it happen. where - Powis St carpark. when - 1pm sunday 17th 0ct 2010 what to bring - sunnies, drink, a smile and a bloody strong hand =) there will be a BBQ so please stay for food and drink. a professional photographer will be there in an RX-8 so smile whenever you see them pass by lol. The v series cruise is conducted for forum and the public people to meet in person to gain further knowledge about the nissan v series skyline. It is where we can talk about cars, girls, and more cars jk. but mainly to have fun. There will be no HOONING involved as we will be cruising in our head turning vs as a pack. (posting this for legal reasons) anyway myself and victor cant wait to meet new faces and at the same time ill be giving some oldschools a call to see if they can make it or overseas working. regards Richard. ps. a map for the first meet has been posted just in case.
  2. i dont think pauls ones are in its greatest condition either tarun. i wouldnt mind it for a project though paul. anyways guys maps have been finalised and ill post up stopping sections etc later on today. just still deciding on the bbq area. the last 4 cruises i have conducted were a success but ample carparks for the bbq areas. again this will be on a sunday so it is expected that many family outtings will occur. we have had bbqs at hillarys and mill point. im thinking maybe burswood this time, however again in the 2nd or 3rd cruise we ended up at burswood around ~4pm and it was abit busy... any ideas?
  3. you will get pulled over for it here for sure victor.
  4. i will see if im free. only thing is the meetpoint. dont think its an ideal place there anymore. there are patrols now.
  5. you also have to consider there taxes on owning a car with a certain amount of kms or the year of it. i read it somewhere along the lines awhile ago hence the owners in japan rarely drive there cars. besides their country is small. kms winding back is very common also but if you buy a 03-10 car i dont think you'll have to worry as much. its a roll of the dice i guess.
  6. thier debts are considerable unlike the yanks. Lmao trillions off $$$
  7. .99 lol
  8. thats commitment bro 4 hrs drive down again... i have tried to convince a few of the boys to take a stroll up there for long weekend but none of them want bugs or chips on their cars...
  9. and yes we are getting very organised and soon will have a proper WA V car club forum...stay tuned.
  10. maps will be finalized by next Tuesday everyone. i will call you later this week regarding to this victor. also if you guys have a facebook page. follow us on the following based in perth. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Western-Aust...96100897?ref=ts or vq series round 5 cruise. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Western-Aust...7125&ref=ts
  11. to search, google is my friend. to kill time, youtube is my friend. to buy, ebay is my friend.
  12. btw its also a good time to invest and buy americano dorras! it was at 94.24 last week to buy. eg $1070 to buy $1usd if it drops say to .80 about $200 profit right there =) i already bought a few ks and for my sake lets hope it does drop. so you guys can import stuff from the states now and dont blame me later =)
  13. that will never happen...well not in decades to come... as the import, export economy of aus will be in crisis. we are smart...staying just under the U.S, oh wait... they are in recession
  14. That only helps half...or maybe a little of his question. if 2003-04 models all i know is main lights are H1 fogs are H4. stick with 6000k or less as higher K will emit less light. the high beams works from the H1s so make sure you get a genuine phillips bulb or equivalent so that the main and high beams are both bright. reason being as before i spent only $200 on my H1 HID from ebay and ending up with 6000k but the high beam was yellow...fail.
  15. dw bud you won once with 177rwkw now that you're running 190-200rw stay in geraldton, come here when i get a twin turbo setup. LOL jk. either way well done for representing and hope we can see you on next cruise...
  16. they were pretty modded up victor thats why they won. and yerh i had a feeling 220rwkw was an error. and regarding to place powis st should be fine.
  17. i think the dyno was giving incorrect readings so i doubt 220rws. its possible but ALOT of work and i think pauls last run made 17Xrwkws with pulleys, spacer, z tube popchargers, exhaust. ill let him clarify but if hes really pulling 220rwkws NA i really wanna know what hes running
  18. And no z and aurions aren't imports as they are sold here locally although all of you should know that
  19. How about best na 6 u won last time or something?
  20. i think its a customer of chris. i have asked already and got quoted $5k, kit from states and engineered certificate. labour is a bitch...and imo not worth the $5k. they belong on a lambo.
  21. that'd be awesome mate.
  22. saw it on the meet and greet last month...had the whole engine rebuild as it was leaking everywhere apparently...
