Gday crew have got myself a knackered clutch booster its split a nice hole in it. read here once that instead of gettin new gtr one that a nevara one could be used and i cant find the post again. So, has anyone used a different booster and master cylinder if so please tell me what it was and how well it fits. Also if there is an easier way to get a replacement than just hunting 2nd handers. cheers crew as always all info is appreciated. dion

yeah man i know stuff doesn't always go to plan. im a mechanic! but i work for Ford and we aren't allowed to use the shop here so i have to take it elsewhere. i dont mind waiting but when its promised to you and you dont get it its a bit of a let down. they had 2 weeks which is more than enough to get parts but they didn't start till this monday so its time management i guess. All they really needed to do was call and tell me that it may not be ready in time and i probably shouldn't fork out any cash for the weekend just yet. IN THE END I AM HOPING THIS PLOTS THE POINT THAT YOU NEED TO GIVE YOURSELVES A FAIR AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE AN EVENT TO GET YOUR RIDE FIXED BECAUSE BETWEEN WORKSHOP STUFF UPS, PARTS ORDRING AND THE TIME IT TAKES UNEXPECTED ISSUES TO BE SOUGHTED OUT YOUR GONNA NEED TO LEAVE YOURSELF SOME BREATHING ROOM. COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMERS IS THE KEY

only the second time i have had work done and the first time was spot on. all experience i guess

man i called every second day since i took it in. why would i leave it somewhere for to weeks and not know a thing that not clever. it was only yesterday when i called that i found out the car wouldnt be ready for my race. every time before that i was assured it would be ready by this weekend. why you so deffensive man im not baggin them just sayin what happened.

thanks mate i dont like puttin a downer on any workshop its not what people need. but at least it could help other customers from there keep in contact with the mechanics so they know where there car is at espescially if its needed for an event. IN NO WAY AM I SUGGESTING NOT GOING TO THEM TO GET WORK DONE. THEIR WORK IS OF GREAT STANDARD AND PROFESSIONAL. just make sure you and they know where and when the car is needed and stay on top of it.

man they didn't look at the car for a week after i had dropped it in then didn't figure out it was gaskets till this monday. so of course they had no time. why tell someone it will be ready when it wont. I agree that it takes time to get gaskets and parts from when you order them but if they had a customer that needed there car ready for a race wouldn't you think they might prioritise that car or at least let the owner know whats goin on so they can go elsewhere to still make their race day. it all could have been avoided.

Hey whats the deal with closing that creatd thread. I was just asking other peoples opinions on a workshop because i have had both a great and a bad experience there i would have liked to know if they are constantly stuffing up or it was just a bad luck situation with me. no body is having a go at anyone and im sure people would like to know where to take their pride and joy for hassle free work seeing as though thats what we spend our hard earned on every pay day. anyways heres what happened to me: first off i have no problem with the quality of work they do and i have had a good experience with them before but this was bad enough to ruin a weekend on the track that could have been easily avoided. I am about to have a very shit weekend here crew put my 32 GTR in to CREATD MOTORSPORTS cambellfield 2 thursdays ago to get a boost leak looked at cause i couldn't pin point it without a dyno. was told that they would look at it on the monday after (i dropped it in on the thursday) and hopefully would be out of the shop by wednesday. i knew it wouldn't be out by wednesday but maybe the end of the week. I also informed them the same day i had booked it in that it needed to be ready by today (26th of feb) at the very latest because i have a hill climb on that starts tomoz and they assured me it would be well done by then. they had put it on the dyno by the wednesday and found that it was an intake manifold gasket leak and they were ordering gaskets to fix the problem and could pick it up early the next week. Called them this morning to see whether it would be right for me to pick it up late tonight and was told that they haven't started pulling it apart yet or even got the gaskets into stock. Pissed off. Also they said that if the gaskets are not in tonight then it wont be ready till after saturday. which means i miss the race. which means i have blown entry fee $$ and accomadation deposit $$. so as you can imagine PISSED OFF = SHIT WEEKEND dont like bitching about people but wouldn't the best thing to do have been call me and tell me it wasn't going to be ready so i could either take it elsewhere or not pay a couple hundred bucks on entry and accomadation that i wont get back. it was all in the communication with them that was terrible and made me miss out on a weekend of racing. just doesn't make sense why someone with such a reputation would do such a thing. last time i had work done there they were awesome. it all comes down to lack of communication relaying info back to the customer and in the end stuffing up all my plans and wasting a fair chunk of my wage.

i am in the middle of some stuff up will post details later tonight as i am waiting for a pleasant phone call. otherwise will have you all a story about my f%*ked weekend. otherwise this info is good so far sound about right. some good some bad i have already had my good experience there this one is turning sour.

anyone had any troubles dealing with Creatd Motorsports in cambellfield? like them not delivering on time and things alike? let me know please.

gday crew i have myself a little clunk that is gettin to me. when i slow down say at a set of lights nice and calm like i shift down into second gear and just before its time to put the clutch in (15-10km/h) and come to a complete stop the car jumps forward and makes a nice big clunk from the mid to rear of the car. it feels as if the car is relaxing with some free play somewhere in the drive line after being bound up. i dont know wether its a bind up issue or if its something completely different. anyone had this problem or got any ideas? as always all help is appreciated and feel free to ask questions. cheers Dion

yeah pretty sure my gtr was run on a 4 wheel dyno and put out 231kw at the rears and then in 4 wheel put out 229kw at all 4. would have been a shit dyno or a shit car to drop from 250kw at the rear to 180kw at all 4. just statin me facts sorry pal as for your problems mate sorry i haven't got a clue just had to say somethin about the gts4. good luck with ya fixin man

Gday crew come accross a wonderful problem. i have just had all my exhaust and turbo gaskets fixed because a few had been leaking. i brought it home ran awesome for about a week and now when i accelerate either softly or hard when i should be boosting instead i am hearing a loud pulsing venting noise sounds like a blow off valve is having a seizure and the car jerks as it pulses. it still picks up speed but not like it should. can drive through 1st and 2nd gear flat out and it will work as normal but when just cruising where it should be boosting it makes the noise. it also has an idle arround 1500rpm which is rather high and it i can hear it hunting. i thought maybe a line was off somewhere and checked everything i can get too to see wether its a vacuum leak but so far no luck. also blocked off my BOVs to see if they were the problem and wasnt the case so put them back to normal. anyone had anything similar or any ideas. Waste gate issues? any help always appreciated very much. cheers crew Dion
