  4. yeah dont know if ya supposed to bolt it straight to ya turbo! just kidding. yeah i read that review ages ago in autosalon and it supprised the hell out of me. i only have the hks ones because they were on me car when i bought it. pretty sure i am just goin with the stock box with a good panel filter apexi or alike. any objections?
  5. nice so powerplay do new stock boxes? do they come with all the pipe etc like cold air intake little pipe and that stuff. cause yeah like you said if i can get a nice clean one would be worth that bit extra. cheers mate
  6. haha glad to see they all made good power differences! thanks man stock boxes shouldn't be hard to find cause everyone is always gettin pods. cheers
  7. Gday crew I'm currently running hks twin pods the green oil type that are i think a pretty old model filters and they are filthy and in need of cleaning/replacing. i got them with the car when i bought it. I was just going to clean them and put them back in but did a bit of a read and found that hks are not so much filters just more rock stoppers (shitty filtration) so i am lookin for somethin new. engine is currently stock with just a Hks exhaust and not planning any serious power upgrades for a while. anyone know if there are any pods that will bolt straight onto the hks piping kit? Are the new HKS filters better than the old ones? I am open to all options of filters panel/pod or airbox/no air box I was trying to stay away from oil type filters for an AFM maintenance point of view. How would i clean the AFM's if they have oil on them already? anyone recomend keeping the ones i have now and just cleaning them? if so what oil should i use. well let me know your opinions/recomendations im sure there will be some good ideas out there cause skyline owners are just all that more intuitive than other car owners! cheers crew Dion
  8. changed my mind im gettin a new setup thanks anyway Please delete
  9. Gday crew the time has come for me to wash my filters i have 2 HKS washable pods that are filthy! Just wondering who else is running them, what you do to clean them and what oil you put on them to keep em sticky? also is there a down side to these filters like sucking air filter oil into my intake? Cheers crew you know how it goes any info is appreciated Cheers Dion
  10. yeah could i ask the price please mate just pm me if ya want and also what the did all up. thanks mate Dion
  11. yeah if ya late to work say it was your shift to put your finger into the black whole that the scientists just created to plug it and stop the rest of the planet gettin sucked in and if you hadn't done it there wouldn't have even been a work to go to!
  12. thanks lads w ill just keep it tucked up in there for fun then. Cheers man i got no idea how you posted at 9:54 but came second!!! must be that stupid atom collider thing stuffin with the universe already
  13. thanks mate will check it out. the boots in really good condition pretty sure it was replaced in may when it was roadworthied when i bought it.
  14. Gday whats this sensor here that has been left out of my HKS priest exhaust? it looks like an O2 sensor or an air temp sensor but i thought the O2 sensor was in front of the cat on GTR's? anyone know what to do with it wether i should plumb it back in or leave it hanging? cheers Dion
  15. Gday crew i had my r32 up on a hoist to check an exhaust leak and found this nice collection of grease leaking out of the front left drive shaft boot. the boot itself is fine in great nick but there seems to be grease leaking out from the tone wheel side of it. anyone know if there is a seal there that could be leaking or if the boot had a clamp or wire tie arround it to keep grease in? know of any other problem it could have? would have checked my manual but i deleted it off the computer by mistake. hope the pics are ok i took them with my phone (that said its a 5 mega pixel camera) cheers crew Dion
  16. haha nice man thats grouse!

  20. very true i once weeded a ladies garden when i had my own business and i thought she said weed these but she said dont weed these. like her prize winning herbs or some sh*t. she was devastated. i did the whole day for free.
  21. damn yeah thats awesome! i like that better than mine
  22. try harder! im an apprentice mech at ford product development. when we finish with test cars they go to be scrapped and nothing can be left in workin order. so we drain all fluids, start the engine, and hand feed bolts and nuts directly into the manifold as we rev the tits out of it. we dont stop till it stops running. im not talkin falcons and shit im talkin next models xr's and fpv's prototypes that are worth $250,000 plus. i couldn't count how many cars ive scrapped. not bad job to get paid for.
  23. cats job is to heat up to arround 350 400 degrees as fast as it can so it can burn all the nastys before it comes out ya tailpipe. runnin a decat pipe is obviously lettin all that shit come straight out behind ya. I dont know about anyone else but anyone who wants to breathe anything that only burns at 400 degrees is welcome to, im not so keen. also yeah if you run to rich and unburnt raw fuel hits your cat it starts to disintegrate the cat material, so crew who are running excessivley rich or have a rev limiter that makes ya car spit flames and all that you probably not goin to have a very efficient cat. just some friendly info. i was more curious about power gains when i asked which is better but i know what i will do now. cheers
  24. haha nice man good job on the 'line purchase! my mate was eyeing it of the last week. first in best dressed! as i have steered off the N/A path i will always have respect for em i used to have a 1.6 vtec eg civic and man did it scream. Yes your 32 shall be a much loved car....as soon as you change the wheels! good luck mate enjoy D
  25. haha thanks for the props! yeah im in geelong PM for cruisage! catch D
