Thats a crock, how can you get fined for amber light, just say you were close to the lights doing normal speed and didn't have time to break! imgaine a truck doing that they defs have no time to stop especially with 14+ tonnes behind them. i'd say when you get the ticket bring that up they wouldn't have a foot to stand on lawyer may cost you a bit but get one you have a better chance of walking out a free man.

I traded my r33 for this car but due to living so far away from adelaide working in the mines i have no time for this car, Hi there i have for sale a 1986 series 4 rx7, the car is in good condition only a few very small dents maybe sice of 5 cent coin, 2 new tyres, 2 not so good, rims are good, 5 studs, car is fully stripped inside as this was going to be a drift car, with custom dash, comes with the original seats and seat belts ect, also has a obx daytona fixed back race seat and a 5 inch monster tacho. not installed. Engine: the engine is a 1992 13b rew which is the twin turbo engine series 6 or 7 i beleive, has been converted back to single turbo now, engine cost 10,000 and was just rebuilt not even a 1000km ago costing 5,000. the turbo is a t4 in a series 5 housing and has been high flowed. has manual boost controller, MSD igntion, HALTECH computer, new oil cooler and stainless braided oil lines, K & N pod filter, unsure of the shocks but the fronts are teins adjustables. needs a tune up, i have been told this would be around 200-300 depending on the time it takes to do this. car makes 180-200 kw at the wheels at the moment on 8psi, but with tune and boost wound up to 12 will make 250kw at the treads. motor was built by jason at REVS in adelaide. battery is also located in the boot area, behind the driver, goes very well dont even need to clutch drop to spin, i have taken it for a few spins around the block and that as far as i have gotten with it. car is located in roxby rowns south australia. cntact me on 0488356376 anytime of the day/night. inspections welcome. sorry if i have left anything out in this as this is my fist time posting a for sale item.in the engine pic the silver pod cover is no longer there, forgot to mention is sunroof model also. car is triple defected!!! i got this from a member on here if they read this could they corrct me if i have left anything out, car is also on ebay atm!!! please pm me on here as i will probebly not check this thread as i loose count of it!

hi there, to those who all drift wether it be amatuer or pro, did ou guys take out the power steering? or would it be wise to leave it in the car i have it out atm, but am thinking i should maybe leave it in there for the ease of driving, this car is just for drift and will not go back on the road at all.

this is gunna be my new drift weapon, swapped my r33 gts-4 from a member on here, soon to go to adelaide and get cams cage done and maybe a bit of a respray,a nd get the engine tuned and start of with 200-230kw at the treads.

hi there people as the title sort of says, i am gunna take up drifting and want to do it right, so im doing the whole battery isolater, fire suppresion and such, question i have for you all is what material do i use, i know mild steel would be good, which is what i am using but should i use pipe or tube, and what size does it have to be, does it need to be engineered. i can get the cage welded properly and done to specs, does anyone know of any places in south australia were i can get it done, what other things need to be put in to make it all legal. cheers.. michael P.S the car is a 1986 fc series 4 rx7 turbo with a 13b rew engine converted back to single, makes alright power gunna up the boost to 12 or 15 which should see 250kw at the treads. this should be enough for a car thats gutted and stuff.

tanks again for the info guys, im not worried about gloves electrodes and stuff as i can get them from work for free or a 6 pack, material is also easy to get, i might look into the kempi welders, depending on the price of them. might even buy a flash helmet i think id rather just pay 600 for a nice one though, can never be too careful when it come to your eyes.

hi guys how much would i be looking at paying for a decent welder, im hoping to buy one sometime soon, i am a 4th year fitter/machinist and am looking at getting into stainless welding and aluminium, i have tried stainless and have done not too bad so thought i could make some custom parts up. im looking at spending $3000 or less maybe a bit over depending on what the brand is and how much more over the $3000 thankyou in advance, michael

hi guys not a skyline but a rx7 is a oil cooler illegal in cars, are adjustabe coilover illegal in cars. cheers... michael

im not the best with cars but i took my xr6 turbo to lmg performance and paul said that cars like these and skylines ect, do this becuase the coil packs get too hot and are in the engine and not seperated on the side like others. dont qoute me on it but you may need to look at this, may be the problem also check the spark plugs i done this and the car ran fine after putting in my new plugs.
