hi there guys and gals few questions. first i am building a worked engine, i am thinking of using tomei cams, hks cam gears, cp forged pistons, custom exhaust manifold, sard750cc injectors, greddy plenum intake, splitfire coils, gt35 turbo, can anyone tell me what else would go good with this engine i am building eg, size of throttle body and such. i am building this over a period of a year and am looking to get 300-400 at the wheels using a rb25det engine. so 1. what other things should i use 2. anywebsites places where i can get things a little cheaper. thankyou for your time. and i know your probebly thinking its a waste of time and money but think it could be wasted on piss,drugs and smokes which i only drink so i beleive it would be worth it. any info would be great thanks

hmmm i am not using my gts-4 engine i am buying a used gts engine and putting forged internals. hmmm seems its better to talk to pros bout this. and eug why u always trying to close threads so quick you can close this one, ill take this to the turbo thread they might know what i am talking bout and what i want to do to everyone that helped i thankyou for your time and awnsers. and the gt35 only had two dyno runs thats it then he went up for more power so its basically a virgin turbo. thread ended.

the turbo i beleive is a gt35 and i am buying it for $500 and will be putting it on a gts-t is that clearer.lol cheers... michael

no thanks my engine is going to cost less than that to biuld but with the good parts. i am buying a turbo 2 morrow its a gt35 i beleive and has been polished and flowed getting it for $500 which i beleive is cheap(anyone verify this)??? as i am not good at the value of turbos. and why a 26 could i drop it straight into a gts-t when i get it, does it have to be engineered????? cheers for the help so far, i am bout to buy a engine soon from ebay or intersate. cheers... michael

i am looking for a complete gts-t engine, low k's preffered, its gunna get worked anyways. looking in s.a owww and prefferably at a good price. cheers... michael p.s its worth a shot in here. oww and mate i got a r33 gts-4 but its manual and a 94 great to drive, not hard to drive either, but when i first picked it up day 1 i bunny hopped it near morthetvalle and reynella was a classic.

thanks for the replies, gtfour a mate at work has a xr6 that made 495+kw at the wheels loosing traction on dyno and is street legal(it can make up to 600rwkatw if the box was done), its quick, i am not after that sort of figure and your right 300kw is what i want to start of with this isn't my first car ive owned a few and am on my p's, as far as i know s.a has no laws bout p platers and hi powered cars as of yet. money wise is not an option as i can work 12 hour days 13 days thats easy(sort of hard being an apprentice working in the mines). i am also thinking of building the motor up then selling my skyline then buying a gts-t and putting it in, as ive been told that a single turbo engine can make more power than twin in some cases. dont know bout that??. anyway i will probebly buy a engine then go from there. cheers... michael

hit there i have an idea instead of turboing my na 33 gts-4, since these machines came out with the gtr driveline i was wondering if i could get a gtr block and head then biuld a motor up, i want to use the sump from my gts-4 to keep it awd but am afraid none of this is allowed in s.a and the car will need to be engineered, the engine will take a while to biuld as a lot of the parts are going to cost an arm and a leg(tomei and such) but i am hoping to chase at least 320-400kw from all of this. i will contact lmg to do the tuning anf fitment as they are great at this sort of stuff, can anyone recommend cams,cranks and injectors casically any good brand and part to run in this engine. cheers... michael

mate at work put his car on dyno and got 495kw at the wheels losing traction on the dyno that was out of his xr6 turbo thats pretty decent. i wouldnt mind getting 350-400 when is the next dyno runs happening

33 for now or my wr400f, but when shes finished in 2 weeks my custom 85 hilux sr5, then i can run shit over that in my way,

spewing a mate from work didn't enter his xr6 it made 590rwkw but had it de tuned to 500 at the rears to save the trans. and meow nice bike there sled truelly something to make the jaw drop and that clais turbo is nuts congrats to all who gave it there best and took it out.

claypans in roxby ftw try them they are mad. and you can set up some cones and try it and you cant hit no one becuase no ones around im in a win win situation, and its a lot safer than doing it in town. my 2 yen

well i drive a non turbo 33gts-4 i get a few waves, i am hoping to upgrade net year sometime to something different hmmm maybe a gtr or a t doesnt matter i love all cars im a total revhead. for both bikes and cars. just my 2 cents, if you see me in adelaide look for the dick halfway out the window waving like an axe murderer. thats me lol. cheers... michael

alright pete i didn't read all of this post but mut some masking tape on the fender draw your line on top of the tape and cut it with the 1mm disc just let it cool a bit before cutting all the way through, ive seen it done and its worked but yeah you might want to go and see a professional good luck either way. cheers... michael

i used to live in christies beach for 4 years new a gang there they were alright(did get into a few fights though), then it all turned to shit. too many hoons there, and not picking on import owners but heard far too many imports screaming past her joint at night, she lives near woolies on beach road, but there was one commo driver one night decided to do a burnout in front of her house up and down the street, i got out of bed grabbed grandads hammer and threw it 3 houses over and straight into there car they took off, then came back later but left qiuck when a big bloke came running after the car. christies now = shit hole.

come to roxby its like riding the finke desert race. tracks are insane here, and we have supercross(pretty lame to some) track and a motorcross track, but the trails are sick or you can go anywere you want just watch for the flashing lights. cheers... michael
