  5. what about this one? id like to do bug photography, like close ups of bugs, spiders, beez etc, is this one right for the job? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Sigma-70-200mm-f2-8...=item415287b9ae what benafit is there for the 200mm? just means i can get shots of things from further away in the same quality? if im doing bug work would i be wise to get something with less zoom since ill already be near the bug to begin with? perhaps a 50mm macro?
  6. okok, for some reason, i have this the wrong way macro pics are taken in my head ive always thought they were very short lenses, and to take the macro image, you have to bring your camera lens all the way upto the target till your kissing it, and that will get you your picture, but yuo guys are saying that macro lenses are just high zoom lenses? whats the difference between a high zoom lens to macro lens?
  7. whats considered a poor magnification? 1:3? is 1:1 the best you can get? whats the worst on the market? and also Pentax Macro 100mm f/2.8 Sigma 70mm MACRO F2.8 EX DG Sigma MACRO 105mm F2.8 EX DG the mm figure is that indicating the closer the lens can take? aka, can get closer to objects before bluring out and unable to focus? 105 being the best? then 100 then 70?
  8. thanks for the info guys, i think hes chilled down now, he kept going on about me selling him a lemon and the transmission was rooted yet he couldnt start it after he got it home, dont know why he was saying that, so i think hes busted something on the way home and cant get the roady on it or whatever. thanks again guys, i nearly popped a vein stressing since i cant afford to give him a refund.
  9. i sold my VL commodore about a month ago to a fellow in bendigo (i live in berwick) and a month later (today) he contacts me saying that the car isnt working, dosent even start, he drove it home and its sitting in his yard ever since. is this guy for real? the car was in perfect condition apart from some cosmetic stuff, and my father used it to get to work days before the buyer picked it up. what are my rights here? this scumbag is threatening to call the authorities to come down with the car with him to get a refund. i was going to suggest giving him my mechanics number who did the rwc on it only 2 months before i sold it, but would this be putting my mechanics license in jeopardy? i know for certain there was nothing wrong with the car when it left my house, i even watched him drive off with no issues, now hes freakin me out with all this legal talk. any suggestions?

  18. hey all, its that time in your life when you have grown out of your camera, ive had my pentax k200d for a couple years now and im thinking of upgrading to something a bit more expensive, should i or shouldnt i? is it worth spending $1400 or so on something better or will i be wasting money? my pentax cost me $800 or so a couple of years ago, and it gets good reviews, my question is, will i be leaping much forward by spending more on a new camera? or is it much of a muchness?
