hey guys, got a hard decision to make, im respraying my wheels this weekend to one of the below colors, satin black and gloss white, i cannot for the life of me choose, white suits the color of the car well, but black looks tougher :S what you guise reckon? thanks to JNR747 for the photochops! hes secksy (the silver is what the wheels are now)

i hav an issue were on idle at any temp it has a ever so slight missing that constantly occurs very frequently but randomly, i changed coils to splits to fix a different issue but this had no effect on the idle, i am awaiting my earthing kit from the u.k and i fairly confident that this will fix the issue i have and possibly urs since bad earthing causes rough idling alot of the time

i want to get a heat shield for my stock turbo setup on an r33, i found this on ebay ooh lah lah what you guys reckon? will this fit the stock rb25 turbo? i dont know the name of the turbo (t3 t4 t28?) my oil catch can is at the far right (when facing the engine bay) and it gets a bit hot because i dont have the heat shield over the turbo from factory, and its right next to the turbo, not to mention the heat on the firewall (gets a bit hot inside ) im also looking at getting my dump pipe wrapped since its a 3" bellmouth and dosnt have a heat shield either good buy? bad buy?

ok so what do these sensors look like? the good ones i mean? are they practical? or are they something only dyno places have?

can you explain more about this wideband o2 sensor? is it just a different type of sensor? or is this the probe they shove up your zorst when your on the dyno?

might need replacing mate, im sure you can get them cheap, unless you know electronics and want to open her up?

hey, did a quick search here, and learnt that people are saying that the fuel air ratio guages you install arnt accurate and are just for show, is this correct? id really like to install one just to make sure my mixtures are fine through the rpm range. how do you go about installing them? are they wires into the o2 sensor on the dump? any ideas? ta

i dont believe the gtr boxes are the same about the sound deadening, i dont think mine has it, good find! might have to silican some siso batts in there haha

in theory yes, but i have had the exact same setup on my last cars and it was no where near the same loudness, ill check out the piping to the turbo, pretty sure its tight though. are there any ways to quieten this down? the snorkel dosent fit over the intercooler piping

it wouldnt be the injectors failing, because it would go faster from being lean (not good)

is 5.7rpm when u backed off? or is that the issue? where it slows down edit, re read nvm it almost looks like it goes into a limp mode?

hey all, i seem to have a really loud induction noise, it sounds exactly as if im using a pod, but im just using the stock airbox, i hate this because id rather hear the exhaust than the loud fsssshhhhhhhhhhhhh from induction, i dont have the snorkel on, but surely an airbox shouldnt sound this loud... could something be loose somewhere letting air escape? it seriously sounds like a pod (i had a pod on my last r33gtst thats how i know) wtf? any ideas? stock turbo

what do you guys think about just getting rid of the middle hotdog? because thats all thats there after the cat, just the hotdog then the cannon. what will that do for sound?
